If you like Mario and Luigi, then you'll love The Mario Bros. Show!

This is an unashamed plug for my audio drama series, The Mario Bros. Show. I mentioned it once before on this site, but not too many people seemed to notice. I could really use your support. You see, this series is completely free, and it's for fans of the Mario Bros. I just want more people to enjoy the show.

So what is The Mario Bros. Show? It's a series of stories revolving around Mario and Luigi in the Mushroom Kingdom. The main characters are Mario, Luigi, Peach, Toad, and Bowser. I do all the voices. Many of the episodes revolve around the Mario Bros' plumbing careers and Bowser capturing Princess Peach. But of course, there are many other kinds of episodes, such as when Luigi finds out he has an incurable disease, or when Mario's godfather stops by to change his future. There are all kinds of episodes.

               Episode 6: Vacation at Delfino Island

Right now, the Mario Bros. Show is in the midst of Season 4. That seems long, but I decided to make a "season" only 6 months long instead of a whole year. Each season has about ten episodes each. Episodes range from 20 to 25 mintues in length. The focus of the show is humor, but some episodes are also very action-packed, such as when the Mario Bros. get super powers and end up facing Giga Bowser.

The Mario Bros. Show also has plenty of guest stars from Mario games, such as Donkey Kong, Wario and Waluigi, Yoshi, Professor E. Gadd, Fawful, and others. Some of the episodes pay homage to specific games: Mario is Missing! and Mario's Time Machine are both based on the educational games of the same name; Luigi's Mansion and Dr. Mario also focus on their primary source material, while The Bowser Bunch tells the tale of Super Mario Bros. 3 from Bowser's perspective. Overall, the show utilizes tons of characters and settings from the games.

Best of all, The Mario Bros. Show is a family-friendly show. You can go to YouTube and find all kind of Mario Bros. stuff that people have made, but most of it is full of cursing and degrading sexual humor. Not on my show! Considering the biggest fans of the show are my own nephews, I want it to be family-friendly. People of all ages can enjoy the episodes without fear that Mario and Luigi will spit out the f-word every few seconds. Peach should be able to get captured without Bowser making a sexual joke about it. So if you have kids, let them listen to the show, they'll probably love it.
