that's awesome, man!  congrats!  I don't think I would ever have the courage to do stand up comedy.  That shit is scary, and I used to play music on stage!  

So you don't think you'll graduate this semester?  why not?  

I still can, but the thesis is due to the grad school the 24th and the profs would need to give me feedback/I'd need to do corrections before then and half the department is also going to Vegas/it's a busy time for them. So I scheduled all this shit at the worst possible time and am hoping the profs will show me mercy, but it may not even be up to them, really. 

My best friend is doing some stand up. He's a bit more daring than me, but I have played music on stage both alone and with a group. Sometimes I think about stand up routines in my head. If I ever got enough material together I might give it a go. But yeah, that's one of the hardest things to do in front of a crowd, make them laugh. I admire the heck out of comedians.

That's awesome you've played music on stage.

It was fun but I really felt restrained in the band I was in. I think with the right people things could be a lot more fun. I have a wacky sense of humor. I'd love to put that into the music and performance. Most people are too busy trying to look cool. I'd rather play the fool. 

Congrats Joe! You and Snee amaze me. Yall go after the things you wanna accomplish and do it. Keep it up, your doing awesome!

Sorry things are a little difficult on the college front,Joe. Still, congrats on getting 2nd place for the last-comic-standing contest! I realize you said it was not a full-house but it's still not too shabby if the people in the room thought you were that funny!

Congrats on second place! Since you split the $100 you have a bit of "spending" money in Vegas (stay away from the slot machines in the airport!). Did you get any tips from the pro comedian? 

This really sounds like a hectic time in your schedule right now, but like you said you gotta do it for graduation. Keep up the hard work, it'll pay off. 

I'm doing well. I actually thought about going to the 7pm showing of Furious7 but I took a nap and woke up at 7 so tomorrow it will be. 

No tips, but we talked about stand up in general and had a good time. 

Actually saw something that may take the edge off my schedule today. We shall see.

I never know when those movies are coming out.
