has made me realize I suck at video games. So hard.

Signed up for the one-week free trial on Thursday, and am playing Bioshock Infinite, Uncharted 2, NBA2K14, Twisted Metal, and Sly Cooper Collection.

By playing, I mean I keep jumping the gun trying to sneak around a museum in Uncharted 2, keep being killed by turrets I don't see in Infinite, think Twisted Metal matches take too damn long/ have too few buttons/I swear there should be at least one more button allowing me to switch weapons/think the game plays like a shadow of its former self. The hell can I only play as Sweet Tooth?  I get HOW to play NBA2K14, I just suck at it. Poondongle Macdanish's career will be short-lived I think. Not sure why I created him, just wanted to play an exhibition match.

But I am having fun with Sly Cooper and may see if I can beat all games in the series before my trial is up.

If you missed a bunch of PlayStation 3 games like I did, $20 really sounds good for this service. There's a lot I want to play. Still think I'll cancel soon though, cause money is tight.

Great for me. Checks your connection first.

so it doesn't really download it, it just streams it?

It might download something, since the games appear in the same games I own do once I've streamed them. Only difference is where Rayman Legends will just boot up since I own it, the streaming games will check my connection first.

Wave of the future. We're all going to be on streaming services eventually. I'm not sure how that will change my gaming habits, but I know it will.

I jump between games a lot more when I'm using the service.

I think I would do the same. Wait. . . I do that now.

I should give that service a try, but I don't get why Sony just didn't follow with similar pricing as other streaming services. For 2K tweak the settings. I found if the flow of the game is a little bit faster it becomes more enjoyable.

I imagine because it costs more to host games than movies? I dunno.

Could be, but I'm gonna side with Sony trying to squeeze as much cash from their customers as possible.

I'm not big on streaming unless its shows or movies. I'll get too pissed if the connection cuts and I lose my progress on the game. I'm glad your enjoying it thou! I loved Twisted Metal. I was so happy to get that game and while I sucked at it, I enjoyed the hell out of it.

Not the original, but the new one also called just Twisted Metal. I'm not as big of a fan of it as I was the original.

The connection seems perfectly fine though.

The more time you have to play, the better the deal is, I guess. Streaming games may well be the future, but I don't particularly like the idea. I guess I just like owning things lol.

I don't think I would want it for new games, but in my case it's kind of like having backwards compatibility and a library of older games in my house without having to go out and get them. I still prefer actual copies of games, I just think the service is neat.

Glad to see that it works for people but I'm not using it. I'm afraid of tempting my ISP to send me a email/notice that states "Hey asshole, you've hit your bandwidth capacity!" or something like that. And I stream a lot of video and audio already.

Hmmm ... that makes sense. Honestly though, I'm not sure what my cap is with Suddenlink, I just know I pay for their lowest offered speed.
