I just finished reading the second novel in The Strain series. It was a great read. I'm also on the third of the graphic novels now. It would appear that two graphic novel volumes equals one of the text novels.

I'm waiting anxiously for the new season of the TV series. It starts in mid summer I think.

OK, now down to the believe it or get out bit. The evil human in The Strain is called Eldritch Palmer a dying billionaire industrialist who helps The Master in hopes that he will be granted eternal life.

When I finished last night I decided to go through my digital library and pick something to read next deciding finally on Philip K. Dick's 1965 novel The Three Stigmata of Palmer Eldritch.

Eldritch Palmer, Palmer Eldritch. It took a few minutes for this old brain to grasp it but it appears that del Toro and/or Hogan just took a name from PKD and flipped it. Homage or coincidence you be the judge.

dude man, The Three Stigmata of Palmer Eldritch is one of the most fucked up books you will ever read, I guarantee it.  Philip K Dick at his finest.

I've got to get my scifi reading in gear again. I've been on a classics binge. I need to read more Philip K. He's an author I've kinda missed. Btw. Did you hear Terry Pratchett died recently? I haven't read much of him either, but would like to.

I don't believe it. I'll get out.

I don't even know what any of that is or means.

IF I had the time I'd look into them. One day perhaps. one day.
