I like the Daredevil show a lot. It's an interesting interpretation. Much better than the movie.
How far are you in Bravely Default now? I hit a wall in the flower city.

I had this mostly written, got called away to do something and never got back to it. I'm too tired and lazy to incorporate it into a new blog, so enjoy it for what it is.
Ah, spring! Warm weather! Employment! All of these are awesome things.
Reading: I've been utilizing my local library a lot lately. In the past week and a half, I've read Forever Odd by Dean Koontz, Spirit of Steamboat by Craig Johnson, Beautiful Ghosts by Eliot Pattison, and I'm in the middle of Any Other Name by Craig Johnson at the moment.
Watching: Still watching the new Hawaii Five-O, checked out the first episode of Daredevil (I'm underwhelmed so far), caught up on Backstrom, The Blacklist, and Hell's Kitchen, and started watching CSI from the beginning on Hulu Plus.
Listening: In the CD player this week: The Heist - Macklemore, Diesel and Dust - Midnight Oil, The Story of the Clash - The Clash, and Social Distortion - Social Distortion.
Gaming: Was bad yesterday and took a trip to Game Box Video Games. Bought a new copy of Bravely Default. Had a lovely moment geeking out about Firefly with my favorite employee there, and then found out that I had a $10 credit on my rewards card. SCORE! I also picked up a car charger and a Write and Protect Pack for my 3DS.
I played the demo, which I still have on my 3DS. I liked that mini-game where you manage a village or something like that. The art style didn't appeal to me much. I guess that's why I didn't get it, but the more I hear about the gameplay, the more I get interested again.
I loved Bravely Default in the end but the second half of the game is repetition and can seem tedious.
The final battle and ending makes up for all of that IMO and the closing video has me stoked for Bravely Second. I love the way the developers used the features of the 3DS. I had to do some backtracking in the game because it's easy to miss some of the jobs if you don't explore.
I'm still playing Persona Q on my 3DS. I'm at the final boss but I've tried twice and run out of steam so I need some more levels or a better strategy. :)
I LOVE Backstrom! The most recent episode was kind of lame and I hope it's not setting things up for a change in direction for the show. Backstrom is an unrepentant drunken slob and they spend 12 episodes building that character and then decide to reform him in the 13th episode. The supporting cast is good, too. They're all a bunch of mostly quirky misfits.
