OMG! Darkest Dungeon is SO good!

I can't believe I put off playing this game for so long. As an indie game still in Early Access and boasting 2D graphics, I was initially turned off by it, but this is one of those games that really needs to be demoed to get into. Combat is turned based. It is very much like Dungeons & Dragons board game with party and dungeon exploration, a little Etrian Odyssey and the mood and feel of a Dark Souls game. After a while I started digging the flow of combat, although there are some issues I have with perma-death and leveling new characters all the time.I do feel like the difficulty is way high, but it's still in Early Access so it might get tweaked a bit more. It might be one of my fav indie games in recent memory.

Saw this and was wondering if it's any good what do you think is it a good Buyer would you wait to buy it.

Thats tuff to say. It is an Early Access game after all and a lot of positive reviews for the build as it is. I usually play a few missions here and there and I'm fine with it, but it also seems to be lacking content, as some comments and reviews will point out. I'd probably wait for the finished game really. I think this game is hard and a bit grindy so I'd hate to have an update wipe out progress or whatever. Check it out when it releases though.

i really want to play this... but I'm gonna wait until it gets released for real, hopefully with the difficulty a little tweaked. But otherwise, it seems SO good.

It is really grindy. Kind of like Etrian Odyssey. Very repetative, but still fun, like Etrian Odyssey games.

At the moment it's available as fully playable in Early Access on Steam, but it's listed as releasing for PS4, PSVITA, Mac and Windows. Honestly, its quite good. There is also a mechanic where your party goes mental if you stay in the dungeon too long and you can recruit more party members from the hub area of the world.
