Nintendo games I'd love to see on the New 3DS

More than a Xenoblade machine

Hey Pixlbit, how's it going? As some of you are or aren't aware, I have a "New" 3DS. I'll have an impressions/review of it soonish, I just have to try a bit more games to give you all a complete analysis or opinions on it, as I don't want to leave anything out. But back to the topic. Awhile back, it got me thinking, Xenoblade 3D is an almost perfect port of an already great game, and as the "New" 3DS is more powerful that the previous iterations, what games can Nintendo port over to this thing? Keep in mind that I would rather have original software for it, but Nintendo seems keen on ports as Hyrule Warriors 3DS was announced yesterday. Plus the timing couldn't been better for this list. So here are Nintendo games I would love to see on the "New" 3DS...

                       Chibi Robo

Chibi-Robo Plug into Adventure!: Nintendo seems keen on making Chibi-Robo popular as Chibi-Robo had a game of sorts last year and he's getting a new game later this year. But why not rerelease Chibi-Robo's first game?  It technically has been rereleased on the Wii as part of Nintendo's New Play Control games, but only in Japan. So this would technically make it a rererelease. I loved the original game, it was weird, but the good kind of weird. Plus it had a very neat story, and alot of it was fleshed out through the npc's. Though one thing that wasn't very good was the combat, maybe they can fix it if they port it.

             Kirby Air Ride

Kirby's Air Ride: People have been wanting a new Air Ride game for years, but Nintendo doesn't seem interested in it. So why not port the first Air Ride as a portable game? There's more people with 3DS's than Wii U's, so having the game on the hardware with a bigger install base seems like a logical choice. It was a very fun racing game and only used the analog and one button, you can't get any more simple than that. It would also look neat with the 3D effect.

                            Paper Mario: TTYD

Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door: There's a rumor going on that this might get a Wii U remake. Other than a visual overhaul, I don't see what more they could add to it, other than off-tv play. I would love to see it portable as the game is an rpg, and people favor rpgs on portable devices, plus that's why Xenoblade got ported to the "New" 3DS over getting poted to the Wii U. TTYD is a long game so having it portable makes sense, plus there's lots of parts where the 3D effect would look great.

Twilight Princess

Twilight Princess: I love this game, it's currently tied with Wind Waker as my favorite of the 3D console Zelda games. I reply it, along with Wind Waker every year and my recent playthrough of Twilight Princess was around christmas last year. If there's one thing my last playthrough taught me, is that Twilight Princess is showing its age. It's actually one of the harder Zelda games to replay, but not for its difficulty, but rather the beginning part of the game. The beginning takes around 30 minutes, and it takes almost nore than an hour before you set foot on the first dungeon, probably more. You say that it's a tutorial, which indeed you are right, as you're both learning both the controls for Link and Wolf Link. But a tutorial shouldn't take you more than an hour. Even Ocarina of Time didn't take that long to set foot at the first dungeon. If you knew what to do, it shouldn't take you more than 10 minutes to enter the Deku Tree. Keep in mind that I'm talking about replaying it, not playing through for the first time. You might argue that it took just as long in Wind Waker, but to me it never felt boring. Plus, WW HD fixed problems people had with the original and added new features without messing or ruining the game. A port of TP can fix the issues the game had, plus add new features. Plus I would love to see the Twilight from the Twilight Realm in 3D, and with the improved 3D of the "New" 3DS, it seems like a perfect match. I would love to see it in HD, but wouldn't mind having it portable.

 Super Mario Sunshine

Super Mario Sunshine: There's been a rumor that Super Mario Sunshine is getting a remake. One of the rumors was that it would get remade in HD on the Wii U. Another rumor said it would get ported as a launch title for the "New" 3DS. I think it might be neat to see it on the "New" 3DS. It has all the buttons the Gamecube controller had and more, plus seeing the water and paint pop up in 3D would look awesome. Plus, the controls don't feel dated compared to Super Mario 64 or its DS remake. As with Twilight Princess, I wouldn't mind it in HD but wouldn't mind it on the "New" 3DS either. That, and I can't be the only one who wants to ride the roller coaster in Pinna Park in 3d.

So, those are all the games I could think of that I'd love to see ported/remade on the "New" 3DS. I avoided games with motion controls, because while the 3DS and "New" 3DS have gyroscope controls, games on the Wii were designed with the Wii remote in mind. I also opted to leave out the Metroid Prime Trilogy out, I would love to see it portable, but would rather have a new entry instead, plus it's better suited with motion controls in my opinion.  That and an HD remake wouldn't hurt. Are there any games you'd love to see ported to the New 3DS? Thanks for reading and later.

Paper Mario I'd definitely want. The last two I'd rather have put onto Wii U while I'm not a fan of the others really. Personally, I'd want to see Punch Out! hit there, would be so great on a handheld.

I wouldn't minde seeing a new metroid like Super Metroid or Fusion, 2D style. Is Donkey Kong on 3DS at all?

Isn't Nintendo already talking about a new console and some sort of portable device that works with it. Is 3DS going to be done at the end of 2016?

There was a Chibi Robo sequel that only came out in Japan.  It supposedly played like the GameCube version, except now young Jenny is grown up and you help her new family out.

I wouldn't say no to having either of the Gamecube Zelda games on the Super 3DS.  The 3DS is already a Zelda machine with the two NES games, 3 gameboy games and 2 N64 games.  Why not go all the way and add every other one while they are at it?

I'd love to see Thousand Year Door on the New 3DS. Personally I love the New 3DS and think it is a worthy upgrade even if we never see another exclusive. The faster processor and the analog nub are good enough for me. I do hope we see more games though just because it has the power to do it.

I would like to see many more SNES games on the 3DS.
