 Characters I want in Hyrule Warriors

Hola Pixlbit, how are you? Not much longer for E3 to start. I know it already started, but I feel it doesn't start till Nintendo shows their event. Well for me at least. A long time ago, I had a post that was a work in progress about characters I wanted in Hyrule Warriors, but scrapped it because it was all the dlc they had, so I was too late and there was no point. However, a few days ago, it was revealed/leaked that Hyrule Warriors was coming to the 3DS. Not sure if it's a port of the Wii U game, but the boxart for the 3DS version has Tetra from Wind Waker which means it'll have new content and new characters. I also heard that you can transfer characters from the 3DS to the Wii U. Not sure if you can do Wii U to 3DS though. I felt that the timing was right for me to revive this post. It'll be modified as some of the characters are already dlc on the Wii U, but I'll post new ideas that I had. Well, here we go...

General Onox and Veran : This being a portable HW game gave me the idea of maybe adding characters from the handheld Zelda instalments. When I played HW, I noticed there weren't that many playable  baddies, I think there were only 6. Not sure if they added more with dlc. I thought why not add the main bad guys from the Zelda Oracle games? There's General Onox from Oracle of Seasons, and there's Veran from Oracle of Ages. I'm more familiar with Onox. Plus he has General in his name, which would make sense with the army of bad guys and stuff. I also noticed that Cia looks like Veran.

Saria: Saria is one of my favorite characters from OoT. But if they were too add her, how would she attack? Maybe using stuff like her ocarina. Zelda fights with the Wind Waker baton and Sheik fights with her harp, so why not?

Oracle of Seasons/Ages Link: Link is already in the game, but they added Young Link in a dlc pack on the Wii U. Not sure if he's a separate character though. I would love to see this incarnation of Link because what if they incorporate the Rod of Seasons or the Harp of Ages as weapons for him? Like you can use the Rod of Seasons and use attacks based on those seasons, like ice or snow for winter, and fire for summer. I'm not sure about the Harp though. But if they do add him, they can also add a ALttP Link costume too since I'm sure they are the same size.

Ashei: I thought Ashei was a cool character in Twilight Princess. She was tough and I bet she can swing a pretty mean sword. They could add her as another character coming from Twilight Princess.

Naburoo: Another character they could add from Ocarina of Time. Hyrules races were represented in HW with Ruto and Darunia, but we don't often see the Gerudo tribe in games. I bet she would be cool to use in the game. It would be cool to finally see them back with Naburoo. Not sure what weapons they could give her, but maybe some swords (cutlass) or spears based on the weapons the Gerudo women use.

 

Groose: If there is one thing I love about Skyward Sword, it's Groose. His parts in the game with Link made me laugh. I would usually say spoiler alert, but I'll save you the trouble of playing it. There's this part in Skyward Sword where Groose follows Link to the land that will be known as Hyrule. I found that pretty funny when he fell with Link. Not sure what his attacks or weapons might be, but considering Agatha attacks with a basket in HW, I'm sure they'll come up with something.

Vaati: I was looking at what other bad guys they could add as playable characters. I thought about putting Skull Kid with Majora's Mask, but thought about Vaati instead. As I've previously mentioned, I liked how they developed Vaati more as a character in Minish Cap as well as giving him a backstory. It would be pretty cool to see him, plus one of his specials can have him transform. That would be cool.

Wind Waker Link: If the boxart from HW 3DS means anything, is that Tetra is a playable character, which is awesome. One thing I noticed in HW on the Wii U, was a disturbing lack of Wind Waker in it. There's the Wind Waker baton, but I think that's pretty much it. So, why not add WW Link as well? I'd love to play as him. Plus, since Minish Cap, Phantom Hourglass, and Spirit Tracks uses the same design as Link, why not add weapons from those games? Imagine using the Four Sword, and when you pull off a special, you have 4 Links attack? That would be cool. And add the conductor costume from Spirit Tracks, so maybe Link will get an item to summon the Spirit Train, it could be possible since you could use Epona on the Wii U version. Oh, and give Ganondorf a WW Ganondorf costume cause you have to have him if you add Tetra and WW Link.

Salvatore: This guy is one of my favorite npcs in Wind Waker. The look on his face is boredom, but he's anything but bored if you play his game on Windfall Island, despite his face looking bored. Plus, Tingle is a playable character in Hyrule Warriors. Why? How does he even attack? If they added Tingle and made him able to fight, then there's no excuse that they can't add Salvatore.

Another thing that was neat in Hyrule Warriors, was that if you used the Link or Toon Link amiibo, you could get the Spinner from Twilight Princess as a new weapon for Link. There's an image floating around the the internet, that if you use the Sonic amiibo, you can play as Sonic. I bet he'll have his weapon from Black Knight or whatever. If they are doing this, why not have more amiibo figures unlock new characters? Here are my picks...

Pit: I'd love to see Pit. He has a big arsenal of weapons, long range, close range, and more. HW gives you access to a lot of weapons for characters, and would be cool to see him fight.

Marth: I'd love to see Marth here. In HW, the characters speak their own language, and you have no idea what Marth even says in Smash. My brother says he speaks in Japanese, and there you go why he could be in.

Shulk: A while back, it was rumored that the Shulk amiibo unlocked something in Hyrule Warriors. I was hoping it would be Shulk himself, or the Monado sword, but unfortunately the rumor was false, and thus my hopes and dreams for this was crushed. But, at least I have his amiibo.Would be cool to see him in the game.

Samus: There's no way they'll add Samus as a playable character, but with all her weapons and different suits, it would be neat to see her in the game.

Kirby: I never played it, but Kirby was in Link's Awakening. I thought that was pretty cool. Kirby could fit, and he doesn't say any words. But my brother says that he speaks in Japanese in Smash actually. That I never knew, plus Kirby's abilities like his hats could serve as different weapons you could equip. That and Sword Kirby's hat looks like Link's hat.

So that's all for this. Honestly, they could pick any or all amiibo figures for new characters. So, are there any characters you want to see playable in Hyrule Warriors? I know some mught be terrible, but I had fun writting this. Thanks for reading and later.
