Don't Scratch the Vinyl, Vinyl.

I was going to comment a few things on E3 but I haven’t really been keeping track of it so I’m just going to talk about one thing I’ve noticed: Federation Force. The Metroid fanbase is causing a hell of an uproar over this, with a partition to cancel the game. I guess I’m not that much of a fan because I actually want to check this out on release.

Moving on last week I found a nice find at Goodwill (at least I think it was last week): a Max Payne game and a 23K gold-plated Pokemon trading card from the first movie promotion (I think?). And while there was nothing interesting there this week I did do a bit of shopping today.

After the folks and I dined out we decided to check out the mall, which was something I haven’t done since the one time after we moved to this state. At the Gamestop inside there was a sale on vinyl figures, so we got four of them: Mad Moxxi, Gentleman Claptrap, X-Men Deadpool, and, for my Dad, Vision.

We check out another game shop called Game Swap which had a larger game/pop-culture merchandise selection though we didn’t get anything there. Maybe next time. Our last stop was a fye shop where we purchased a couple of Zelda danglers mystery bags: Mom ended up with a Link (she wanted to trade for it because it reminded her of my brother) and I got Minish Cap Zelda.

And to finish up the day we went to a Dollar Family shop for some snacks. I got a Kre-O Transformers Micro Changer from there just as I did when I got a Rodimus Prime figure. This time around I got Brawn.

In gaming I’ve finally completed all the Spotpass paralogues on Fire Emblem Awakening. The Well of Truth one was a pain because of the units that were used, but all the other ones were easy enough to battle with. This is, of course, excluding the 50 unit Radiant Hero paralogue since I’ve completed it after five or so reboots. Tomorrow after taking care of Streetpasses and New Leaf miscellaneous items I’m going to play Pokemon. At the moment I’m working on a weather team on X and my battle box on Alpha Sapphire. Also on Alpha Sapphire I still have the Delta Episode to complete. That’s it for this blog. Well, I also want to note that the Dell is now only an online media machine now and let’s never talk about again.

Till next time.

People are petitioning to cancel the game?  That's ridiculous. I've got an even easier solution.  Just don't buy it.  That's what I'm going to do if I don't like it.

You would think that kind of outrage would be more towards Other M's "character development". If there's a demo I'm going to check it out.

I remember those Pokemon Ball things. I think it was a Burger King promotion for the first flick. I had a couple but I think I gave them away to younger cousins.

We don't have a Dollar Family here but I should check out the Dollar Stores just in case because I like those little Kre-O figures. I have a couple but since they are a buck I'd like to collect more of them.

Found a Pikachu one when I was living in Kansas.

Those Kre-O are actually around $3 but they're nice figures. If you get doubles just put one in vehicle mode.

Spotpasses on Fire Emblem! Ahhh. I want to get to that! I actually put my 3DS away this week to focus on other games, but the street pass thing is a lot of fun, and I may be back on that train next week.

Oh yeah, Nerds without Pants podcast today pointed out that Metroid isn't that popular in Japan, which explains the lack of a good sequel since Prime 3. I wish they'd just realized that it's profitable to make it for the West, even if their hometown doesn't dig it.

Huh, it's weird. We love Metroid and they love Fallout. Anyways, after thinking about it, and watching yet another "angry" internet personality's video, I can see how why they wouldn't call Federation Force a Metroid game. Though I would like to at least play the demo.

New Leaf has been sucking me in everyday but getting streetpasses is a reason to boot up the rest of my 3DS games. I actually need to get back to playing Kid Icarus Uprising because one of the Streetpass gems has this awesomely powerful weapon I would like to weild in multiplayer.

You know, I can understand the dissapointment with the new Metroid Prime as I have some of that my own, but I wouldn't make a fucking petition to cancel it. That's a big waste and in the end Nintendo wouldn't care for butthurt fans.

I'm surprised this thing is still going at 18k supports. I think I can actually call this petition really stupid. Besides, we don't know if there's going to be another Metroid with Samus anytime soon. Long shot in the dark sure but kind of hard to forget about Samus.
