I'd love a Kindle Fire. The reading light I use keeps me awake sometimes.
Keeping Tablets

I need to get back into writing blogs. I’m starting a new blog series, Figure Frontier. It’ll be like my previous Game Finds blogs (which I need to get back to again.) being short and to the point. First Figure Frontier blog can be found here. On with this blog.
Nothing really interesting happened at work last week, except for keeping myself inline and just be nice for a change. So far I think I’m doing a decent job, with everyone tolerating me a bit more.
Moving on to tech the folks bought themselves new tablets to play with; Mom got a new one because she had some problems getting her Kindle Fire to charge and Dad got one because why the hell not. So what of the Kindle Fire? It went to me.
So the only problem with it is the charging issue I mentioned and at the very moment I took a whack at it I also had a problem getting power to the battery. The problem is with the micro USB port: I have to elevate the plug connecting to the port just enough for something to bridge, which is concerning because I don’t want to break the conduit piece within the port whenever I just want to give the battery some juice. After some trial and error from early Friday morning midnight to 2 AM I got this thing fully charged. Now the question is what to do with it. I’m sure I’ll find some use for it, such as reading off a guide to find the water chip while playing Fallout in full screen or put some e-graphic novels.
In gaming I have finally came to wits end with going back and forth to the island in New Leaf. I just decided to go to the island twice every other night.
Also, I got a Dragonite code card for my Alpha Sapphire game and I’ll get to training it sometime this week. Till next time.
