First of all, thanks for everyone who commented on my last entry. I was looking to get a discussion going, and that's what happened.
Games: I tried to get back into FF III yesterday, but I wasn't feeling the love. I'll try again today and see what happens. I had a peek at the strategy guide, I'm pretty close to the end, so that was reassuring. I also bought River King: A Wonderful Journey off PSN a couple of days ago, thanks to leeradical42 telling me about it. I'm liking it a lot, once I finally wised up and bought a shovel so I didn't have to keep buying bait. It's snowing here today and I plan on spending my day fishing in a game where it seems to be summer.
Watching: I've been on a nostalgia kick lately and have been watching some of my old favorite TV shows. Some are still really good (NYPD Blue), some are so bad they're comedy at this point (Emergency!, Adam-12, and Hawaii Five-0). I also watched Le Chevalier D'eon all the way through. It was OK, I liked it up until about the last six episodes, when they started killing everyone off.
Ranger Stuff: The neighbors are winding down the sugaring operation. Michael told me they ended up with just over six gallons, which means they boiled down about 250 gallons of sap. I also had a deer stroll casually by my front windows five mornings ago. She had five friends with her around the side of the cottage. The crows were making a fuss the day before yesterday, and drove an eagle out of one of the big trees on the edge of the field. I was lucky enough to have a camera for the deer, not so much with the birds. I'm starting work in eleven days, so maybe a pic of the ospreys will make up for that, now that I know where all my camera gear is and can charge the battery in my DSLR.

Other stuff: Happy birthday to homelessrook! It'll be mine on Thursday, and then Joe Step's on Saturday. I think we have three decades covered here, lol. My mom was supposed to come to Maine this week and she was going to take me out to lunch, but with the storm, she's staying put. Boo. Have I mentioned I'm sick of winter? Think spring, everyone!
