In fact, nearly a year. I got to be too much for VGChartz and was banned permanently. And that was after I calmed down a lot from my 1up days.

I could join N4G and continue my "trolling" as it is accepted there but honestly I miss my old 1up posters that moved here.

I guess I will have to behave myself even more!

Man, I don't get it. You're still doing the same thing? With all due respect, doesn't it embarrass you at all that you've been banned, or suspended, from numerous sites?

You'be been peddling that "I'll tone things down" schtick since the 1up days, but it never lasts too long before you're back to pushing peoples' buttons. I followed the thread on vgchartz that got you permabanned, and I honestly couldn't help but feel embarrassed for you. "I don't whine, I complain like a man" How can you not say that line out loud and feel sort of childish?

anyway, with that said, I hope that you're doing well. I check in on you, from time to time, on FB and I noticed that you've gone through a very rough time in your personal life. I even tried reaching out to you, to be of some help/comfort, but you've never written back. Honestly, there's a lot about you that I don't care for, but I care about you as a person. thats what good people do, they care about others. They don't do everything in their power to set people off, they try to initiate a positive change. With that said, I hope that you're doing okay.

Oh yeah, and I never remember seeing any messages from you on FB.

You've been stalking me all this time?! Lol.

No, I'm not embarrassed. I purposely got myself permabanned. I knew my angry outburst would cause it.

Honestly, if you followed me the whole time, you should know that I really did tone myself way down overall. Not even close to my high trolling 1up days. I don't have that drive to fight as much.

As for FB, yeah, I've been an emotional roller coaster, but I bounce back. Thanks for the concern

So, do you still have that massive game collection?

No, not stalking. I just know that you go through phases of severe depression, and you oftentimes feel alone. I would leave messages when you were at your lowest. I consider it more keeping watch over my fellow man.

Nope, I actually sold off about 85% of all my collection. I kept my PS3, Wii, Wii U, and 3DS. I kept only the games that I couldn't stand parting with. There's a long story attached to all of this, but I'll do my best to shorten it:

In October of 2012, my now ex-wife and I separated. For a moment, while the divorce was pending, I moved in with my parents. I felt low, like I had failed in every aspect of my life. I also started drinking, and feeling sorry for myself. It wasn't until January that I started finding happiness again. It was time to let her go. I then remembered my original dream of moving to Seattle....but I didn't have the money to fund such a trip....

or did I?

I had a little goldmine occupying space on two sroseate book cases. I spent that summer selling off most of my collection on eBay. I turned in a three week notice at my job of eight years, where I cashed in my 401k (to the tune of $8,800), and my parents gave me a one-time gift of $2,000. The games themselves put a cool $3,400 in my pocket. If I had had more time, I'm pretty sure I could have gotten $1,000 more, but I was on a time budget. My girlfriend found out that she was pregnant in July of that year, and I was elated! Part of the reason my ex and I split up is because I desperately wanted kids.

Anyway, we left Illinois for Seattle (Federal Way, actually) in September of that year. We couldn't leave much later because snow typically comes to the mountains early, rendering them undrivable. I got a job two weeks later, Ava Grace was born the following March, and we've been here since. I have purchased a few video game-related things since. I rebought my Vita, and I picked up a PS4. Other than that, I like my pared-down collection.

The real question that matters though: Do you still have Shaq-Fu?

Ha! No, it didn't make the cut. I actually gave my copy of that game away as a gag Christmas gift a few years ago. a bunch of friends and I had a gift exchange, and I gave each friend a good retro game and a bad one. One Jeremey Stevig was the lucky recipient of Shaq Fu.

Wow. You've had some changes! I gave up gaming for nearly a year. I got rid of all of it. I have let some gaming back in my life. I just have a PS3. That's it. I have a handful of physical games, but many digital games that I mostly bought on PSP-PS1 classics. I guess that's the good thing about digital: I got a lot of games back! I do want to get a PSP again. I have digital games for it.

Like you, games aren't the obsession for me that they were. I'm more moderate. I will get a PS4 later. FF7 remake! Oh and I am so happy that PS4 is slaughtering Xbox! Lol! It's about time! The dark age of consoles is over. I couldn't convince ppl about MS. They wouldn't believe me. However MS did that for me! I feel vindicated that MS' corruption was exposed.

I will write a more personal message about my personal life soon. It's late.

If the Shenmue III kickstarter is effective, I'll feel like my PS4 purchase was justified. I'm honestly flabbergasted that Sega hasn't jumped on the free publicity with a Shemmue 1 and 2 HD announcement! I can't make a judgement call on PS4, since the only two games I've played are last gem freebies that came with the console (GTA 5 and The Last of Us Remaster). Bloodborne is on my list, as is Infamous Second Son (living so close to Seattle, I'd love to see how well the game captured the city).

I must admit that that I almost want an Xbox One, if only for the amazing-looking Rare Replay! So many classics on one disc!
