I really dig this audio blog. Something different, adds a bit of a DJ feel when introducing the songs, and putting a voice to a name. Cool stuff!

I did enjoy playing Test Drive, and looking back on it, the game itself reminds me of the forth Fast and Furious movie. I did like being able to play Pong during the loading screen, and I wish more games did fun things like this (Ridge Racer on the PSP had a mini driving game)

Funny you mention Garbage, I too bought their album based off that one song. I enjoyed that album, and I think last week I finally bought the album before 2.0.

Glad you liked it; I actually was a DJ in college, it was fun, and I figured why not?

I never saw the fourth Fast and Furious movie, but the Superbowl trailer for the new one has me excited. That mini driving game sounds fun; funny it's a mini driving game in a driving game. Driving gameception? lol

I need to buy more of Garbage's stuff. I really liked "Blood for Poppies" last year, might buy their new one. Thanks for stopping by!

Thanks! I initially planned on introducing all the songs I posted in my blogs with my voice, but I didn't want to put people through the pterodactyl screech of my laptop's internal mic; I found out I had enough space to redownload Soundcloud to my phone today though, so figured I'd take advantage, since I didn't feel like typing a blog.

You could just use a Rock Band mic, which should cost no more than $10. I used one forever before I got my huge super setup. Even then, USB condensers can be had for under a hundred clams, and often don't even need mixers.

I used to have a mic that I used to record podcast projects way back in high school, I just haven't found it around the house. Thanks for the suggestion, I'll definitely look into a Rock Band mic or something similar, maybe a lower end headset.

You could play Pong on Keen's watch in Commander Keen 4. I spent way too many hours doing that lol.

I'll check into that, but I think Steam might be slowing down my laptop. Thanks for mentioning it though, I'll look into it. And if I buy it, I can start adding people on there! lol

Great to hear ya! What an awesome idea this was. It's like listening to a podcast in a way. I listen to tons of them,so I enjoyed it. So far Cold War Kids "Hang Me Up To Dry" is my favorite song. Be back later on to listen to more of them.

Glad you like it so far. I've actually been toying with the idea of podcasting for a while now. Might just start.

I like this format. What did you use to make your audio blogs. I might want to try it.

Nothing fancy, just downloaded Soundcloud to my phone this morning, and used the phone's microphone to record my voice. In future, I might use Audacity to clean up my tracks a bit. Both are free downloads. Sorry if I'm telling you something you already know with Audacity and Soundcloud, but I haven't used much of anything fancy since I graduated college (where I used DJ equipment in the college radio station to record and Adobe Audition to edit), so those are the free programs I use.

Thanks for listening!

I may use audacity and my iphone headset with mic.

Sounds like a plan. Smile

You most certainly have a voice for podcasting. Just the right tone and a good feel for pacing. I hear podcasts every day by people who do not have those skills.  Back to your music,I love Garbage and Silversun Pickups. And that Spiderman soundtrack is awesome. I like when all the songs have a common sort of feel.

The Spiderman soundtrack is still one of my favorite CDs I own, just in general, it really is great if you like alternative rock.Garbage and Silversun Pickups are great as well.

And thanks, I got a lot of practice as a DJ in college, I'm actually thinking of posting a couple of my air checks here; I do have my unseemly repetitions, pauses, and don't always pick the right distance from the microphone, but I like to think I've built a certain ryhtm for myself. No one likes hearing their own voice played back, and I'm no exception, but I got a lot of compliments on it when I DJ'ed and people seem to like this, so I think I'll upload more.

Thanks for the comment!

Cool blog. At first I was like WTF SO LAZY! then I was all like OHHHHH! lol Cool concept. Me likes.

Lol thanks; I was trying to be lazy, but it actually takes more time to do it this way, cause I have to wait for Soundcloud to load my tracks, then I have to wait for the widgets from there to stop looking like jumbled HTML messes before posting. Oh well though, seems to have gotten a positive response. lol
