In today's blog, this happened.

It was bound to happen eventually. After discussing the horrors of Fish McBites with Toast on the Press Pause Radio podcast, I remembered that there was such a thing as a double Fillet-o-Fish. After seeing it on the menu again, I decided to "dive in & enjoy" one today.

uhhmmm...

There it is, all in its box and stuff. So I opened it up to see my challenge lying in wait. It should be noted that I haven't had one of these kinds of sandwiches in about 12 or so years, so I was totally unknowing of its flavor, or if its taste had changed drastically (as many things have) in the years since my last McMarine encounter.

UUUHHHMMMM>>>>

So I ate it. And you know? It was pretty darned good. Delicious, even. Would I buy another? Yes. Yes, I would. Much to the chagrine of my wife.

Haha, I had a single one of these a few months ago. I realized that I'd never had one, so I tried it out. I thought it was pretty good, too. Didn't know they had a double!

I was shocked to see it the first time. I was all like, "Oh man! It's like a Fish Big Mac!" Predicatbly, Daeruna went "BLEAAGGH!"

I ... kinda hate Mickey D's Filet O' Fish, so more for you I guess. lol I do like Whoppers, but calories counting means I have to plan a day around eating one, and they're delicious, but not THAT delicious.

They're tasty but I wouldn't burn myself out on these though. Once in a long while is just fine for me LOL. It could be next year before I get another.

Blech! I hate fish! Which is odd, considering that I've lived most of my life on the coast of Maine, and three years in Norway.

I wonder if my local Mickey D's has the Double Fillet O Fish. I need to check it out because that is my go to Friday Lent Lunch (I call it the Lazy Catholic Meal)

Double the fishy.....goodness? Actually they are kinda tasty. I worked for the clown for years. Fillet O Fish is one of the few things I still enjoy. Well,that and the fries...Yum!

I'm always curious about how McDonald's chose the shapes for its reconstituted meats. Why do the nuggets have a circle and a boot? Why is fish square? I just wonder if they did testing and got reactions like, "Octagon fish? GROSS! Needs less vertices."
