Wild Arms

I just find myself with little that I want to really say in regards to videogames.  It is either that, or the fact that it is summer and I get dragged out to New York, Upper Michigan, Chicago and wedding after wedding.  I guess I am just busy.

I have been working my way through Wild Arms on my Vita.  That game is pretty spectacular, and has really good pacing so far.  I keep asking myself what took me so long to finally play it.  I think that I am about halfway through the game.  I am definitely hoping to finish it up by the end of summer.  I am also kicking myself for waiting so long to finally play this game.  I definitely think I prefer it to FF VII.

I also found out today that thanks to April's PS+ offerings, I can get a digital copy of Dishonored Definitive Edition on the PS4 for half price.  I guess if you own a digital copy of Dishonored on the PS3 you get a price break to upgrade.  I think that is pretty sweet, especially since I did not technically pay for my copy.  I do prefer physical copies, but I am never going to complain about a great deal.

Wild Arms (PS) is a great game. I played Wild Arms (Alter Code F) (PS2) which is the same game but with updated graphics first and then played the first one just to see the differences.

I still haven't played Dishonored. I have the physical version but accidentally bought the digital version because it was in my basket when I bought something else on sale. I blame beer.

Beer is the reason behind at least a third of my PSN purchases.  Who in the right mind would buy a digital copy of Toy Story 2 for the PSOne?

you're married yourself, aren't you?

I've always wanted to play Wild Arms.  I have it.. but I think I deleted it off my Vita to make room for something else.  MAybe I'll redownload it for my trip.

I might just be enjoying it all the more because they don't turn based RPGs like they used to.

I love that game! I have a physical copy for my PS1. I also have Wild Arms 2 as a PSOne classic on my PS3. I got stuck in this one spot where you have to run fast and light up four spots on the floor, and I just can't do it. I rage quit last summer and haven't been back since.

It is so good.  I love the music, in fact, the music is currently stuck in my head right now.

Make the weddings into games I suppose. Drinking games.

I tend to get sick of drinking after my second drink.  Not sick, just tired of drinking.

Ah. I've only been drinking water lately myself, but I could use some good drunken time.

I played one of the Wild Arms games a while back. I think it was 4 or 5. I liked them and got Wild Arms 1 on PSN. I still need to play it though. Time, time, time.

When I got my PS2, one of the first games I picked up was Wild Arms 3.  I really enjoyed it and thinking back am surprised that I never went back to play through the first one.

Oh yea, it was WA 3 I played. Didn't finish it though. Want to.

Same here.  I never finished it.  I was working on the side quest(s) that dealt with pyramid shaped puzzles?  I don't remember the specifics.  I got pissed off and quit.

I like how some games offer that deal about a discounted price to play it on the PS4/XBox One. Its a good way to get folks to move to the next console.

I am becoming tired of these remasters, but publishers are making them easier to swallow with deals like this.

My brother played Wild Arms back in the day and the main thing I remember was that when you turn around your little characters actually spin around instead of instantaneously facing the other way. Realism! That and the wild west-esque setting. AND the amazing opening song, 'natch.
