Geeze, haven't platinumed anything yet myself. Been on Xbox too much.

So I kinda like going trophy hunting in games, but I hate how I have to look up what some of the descriptions mean and that I can't track my progress. I thought you meant jump 100 meters 8 times from a tall building as Batman, how was I supposed to know you meant his car when you didn't specify what was supposed to be jumping? In fact, that whole thing would be a lot less frustrating if you told me I completed 1/8 or 7/8 of the jump so I wouldn't be in the dark as far as where I'm at.
Anyway, two trophies left in Arkham Knight for me before Platinum (one left in Batgirl DLC before 100%). One is performing every kind of predator takedown (doable) and the other is Brutality 101/getting 15 different combat moves in one free flow (I have a hunch the running guy is gonna fuck that up for me after my 14th different combat thingy ... also my memory doesn't keep that many Batman combat moves in my head, so I'll need to figure out a mnemonic).
In other trophy news, I got Platinum in Rocket League today. Damn that game is fun. The last two trophies I earned were just based on playing the game a bunch. Now to finish my season with Death Squad with Sweet Tooth as team captain and I'll play on and off from here.
I've also been playing Limbo since it was free for PS+ this month. I've already beat it on Steam, but I may as well get the trophies for it since it's a short game anyway. I played a bit of this month's free Tomb Raider game and though I'm still miffed that I can't "purchase" a copy of God of War Ascension in case I get a PS3 (maybe I can, but last time it only let me rent from PS Now), it's actually a pretty fun little game. It's clearly meant for multiple players and I've only been playing single player listening to Lara talk to no one (my one attempt at multiplayer someone was booted cause they were a dick then I was booted probably cause I had no idea what to do), but it's fun nonetheless.
I also bought Legend of Korra and White Night for $6 each for this week's summer sale. I already own Korra on Steam, but my PC was iffy with playing it so for the price, what the hell? White Night just looks incredibly cool from the trailer, so I jumped on it. I love the black and white noir aesthetic in games like Unfinished Swan and Mad World.
I've always been playing the challenge mode in Arkham Knight, which has been way easier since I figured out the combo system in this series. I had literally just been mashing buttons through each installment up until seeing a youTube comment recently explaining combat consisted of "rounds." Who knew? I was always wondering why the combat was so praised. Now I know I've been winning fights by playing "incorrectly" this whole time.
