Hey guys. It's  been almost a year and a month to the day from when I last blogged. I haven't gamed much in the past year, but I have watched a load of shows:

-Star Trek TNG Season 1

People say that the first few seasons aren't that great but personally I love them so far. It's the perfect mix of kitsch and seriousness. I'm looking forward to diving deep into the show later.

-Daredevil

Holy shit this was amazing. I'm super looking forward to the next season and Jessica Jones.

-S.H.I.E.L.D. seasons 1 and 2

I watched the first few episodes when they aired but I didn't really like them that much. During the lead up to Ant-Man I decided to watch every bit of footage in the MCU and gosh, it was worth it. The second season is exponentially better than the first

-Black Mirror

I had heard great things about this show, and believe me, the hype is real. This is some of the best sci fi I've ever seen. My favorite episode was Fifteen Million Merits. It's an anthology show like The Twilight Zone so you can watch the episodes out of order. There's only 6 episode so far, like Sherlock, but they're all fantastic. This show makes me want to write scifi, which is hopefully a hobby I can pick up later in the year.

-The Office Seasons 1-4

Great show. So far I can't tell whether I like this or Parks and Rec better. Time will tell

-BoJack Horseman Season 1

I was a bit skeptical going into this show, but it really knocekd my socks off. IIt had some fantastic writing and character development. I'm gonna start the second season soon

I'm sure that I watched more, but those are what I remembered and what stuck out. As I said, I haven't gamed much this year. What I have done has been restricted mostly to mobile gaming, mainly because not many new games have piqued my interest. I'm not making any promises but I may/may not write something up about Final Fantasy Record Keeper, which I downloaded yesterday. I like it so far. It's not that hard, or good, even, but I enjoy the sprites and the music.

Some games that I'm excited for:

-Star Wars Battlefront

This game looks fantastic. The online multiplayer is literally everything I could have imagined and more. I'm still dissapointed that the AT-ATs are on rails though.  

-Final Fantasy 15

I'm pretty sure it's going to come out next year. But only time will tell with Square Enix. (You're killing me Smalls!!)

-Dragon Quest 11 (3DS)

The use of the second screen is brilliant. I can't believe that nobody has thought of that yet.

-Assorted new IPs

E3 this year was great. Some of my favorite trailers and previews were of the new IPs. It finally feels like developers are taking advantage of the new hardware.
