This past weekend I attended PAX Prime in Seattle and wrote a few articles about it at GamerDad.com. It was a lot of fun, and I’d like to encourage you all to click on the links in this blog and read my articles and post comments if you can. It would be much appreciated. I played a lot of games, attended a lot of meetings, took some cool pictures, and even met a celebrity! It was definitely one of the better PAX conventions I’ve been to, so please do check my articles out!
PAX Prime 2015: Day 1: Crafty Beginnings
On the first day’s article I played games from Capcom, Nintendo, and others. But the best thing about the first day was TellTale Games has a new title I can be excited about again. They’ve been getting very popular with their Walking Dead and Game of Thrones series, but the darker and more serious themes in them just aren’t my cup of tea. I prefer the ‘old’ TellTale that made silly games like Sam & Max and Wallace and Gromit. But now they have a colorful, whimsical point and click adventure I can be excited about again, and it’s called Minecraft: Story Mode! And I’ve never even played the original Minecraft (I’m afraid that if I start, I’ll get too addicted to it).
PAX Prime 2015: Day 2: Star Toons
The second day of the show was pretty big for me, as I attended more meetings, played more games, went to a party that night, and even met a celebrity! Wanna know who I met? Well you’ll just have to read the article to find out!
PAX Prime 2015: Day 3: 15 Minutes Could Save You on Cosplay Insurance
The last day I was at the show was a little less eventful, as I only had one meeting and was flying home that night. So I just dedicated this last article to wrapping things up and showing pictures of some of my favorite cosplay outfits.
And that’s all the articles! Again, please do read them and post comments either here or there. I’d really appreciate it. Next time on my blog here, it’ll be my pretend birthday party! Yay! --Cary
