I bought Child of Light (360) a while back and I still hadn't played it. It was on sale and I remember reading good things about the game. I have so many games to get to.

Games Beaten
-Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney — Dual Destinies (3DS)
Phoenix Wright was one of my favorite series on DS and Dual Destinies is a great follow up. The technical improvements are impressive—I especially loved the catchy music!—but the stories are the real stars here. The twists and turns just kept coming and the whole story arc came to a nice conclusion. It made good use of the series's stable of characters too. Fantastic experience overall. I hope Capcom localizes the next one too.
Games Bought
August purchases started off with a bang. I nabbed Bloodborne (PS4) for about $18 from a GameFly flash sale, which is about half of what you'll find it anywhere else. I hope I get around to playing that this year because...well...it's so unusual for me to actually play something in the year it releases lol. After that I picked up a couple titles from a PSN sale: Child of Light (PS4) and The Misadventures of Tron Bonne (PS1). The former has been on my mental watchlist since it came out and the latter, well, is the only Mega Man Legends-ish game that is playable on modern systems. Gotta take what I can get right? And it's supposedly a lot of fun too.
Someone pointed out that the Despicable Me minions are basically servbots and I think they're probably right.
That just leaves PS+. Sound Shapes (PS4/PS3/Vita) and CastleStorm Complete Edition (PS3/Vita) both really interest me. I'm cooler on Stealth Inc 2: A Game of Clones (PS4/PS3/Vita) because I still haven't played the first game and God of War: Ascension (PS3) because I haven't playe any of the games in that series yet (despite owning all of them except GoW3) and Ascension is widely considered the weakest of the bunch.
Now Playing
-Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris (PS4)
The astute observer will notice that this is actually another PS+ game from August but we bought it earlier in the year and actually started playing it right before they announced the August line up. What can you do, am I right? This co-op puzzle platformer shooter is a lot of fun though and my wife and I have been slowly working our way through it. We're near the end too, I think.
-Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call (3DS)
Finally starting playing this and it's tons of fun. The music is so good and there is so much content! The art style still looks weird though.
-Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions Evolved (Vita) (PS+)
I'm stuck on the Emerald Boss of the Adventure Mode. I've gotten really close a few times but still haven't beaten him. I'm not a big fan of the 3D arenas in this game (like the sphere for the Emerald Boss) but it's hard to complain too much since it still includes all the classic modes too.
