I got a press release about this yesterday. Pretty high tech stuff. I may not be able to review it since I can't really use my phone on the job.

Gotta Catch Em All!
Hey Pilxbit, how are you? Today something really cool was announced:
I always wanted Pokemon to be real as a kid. Heck, I Pokemon were real, I would of started my journey as a trainer when I was a kid, and would most likely still be in my journey right now. The games have always fulfilled that fantasy for me, but not just me, but for everyone as well. The games themselves have always been the closest we've ever gotten to Pokemon in real life, but now with this, that dream is actually closer. This also reminds me of that Pokemon and Google April Fools joke they did, but this is if it wasn't a prank.
From the info I gathered, this seems to be an AR (Augumented Reality) game and it'll be free? Not sure but it'll have in-store purchases. I'm willing to bet that the in-store purchases will be like a real version of a Pokemart, and it'll function like one where you can buy different types of Pokeballs and healing items. I think Nintendo has stumbled into a gold mine with this. Although you're going to need one of these devices (more info as well) to use the app/game. Perhaps this is a taste of what Nintendo is planning to do with mobile development. Now, just imagine this with those Google glasses? That would be neat.
Pokemon's 20th anniversary is next year, Pokken Fighters was confirmed next year for the Wii U and now this. Nintendo seems to be pulling out all the stops for the anniversary. There's still plenty of things that are unanswered about this, hopefully we'll get more info. But I'm really excited for Pokemon GO, this is the closest we'll get to Pokemon in the real world, and maybe a Pokemon MMO. But at least now I can fufill that childhood fantasy. Wish I had this as a kid, but better late than never.
So, what are your thoughts about Pokemon GO? Thanks for reading and later.
