Hello everyone. I figured I'd share some exciting news!

I Got Super Mario Maker. Already I've played a crapload of levels and I've made a few of my own. I've made 2 Super Mario World style  Kirby's Dreamland inspired levels based off Green Greens and Castle LoLoLo (Albeit the latter has a water sublevel, but it was that or underground) I'll be trying to recreate Float Islands, Bubbly Clouds, and finally Mt. DeDeDe so here is to the newest, greatest time consumption of my life! Do you own Mario Maker? If so what levels will you make?

I will be getting my copy within the next few days. Cannot wait to play some of the community levels too. I'm just hoping Nintendo will add at some future point the option to make Super Mario Bros 2 levels.

I could never get into creating my own levels. But I would love to play what others have made. I played Sound Shapes recently, which is a similar concept.

Yeah other people's levels are great! I really like the expert hard levels.

Oh man, I wasn't planning on getting this soon but all the talk about it is driving me crazy!!

I have it, haven't dabbled too much in the level creation stuff, but the levels people have created are insane. There's this one called Bob-Omb Battlefield 64 remade in SMW's template and it's really good. Gonna try and dabble in more creation stuff.

Yeah I saw the Bob-omb battlefield. That was excellent. There are so many great levels!

So I looked up some video to check this out. I didn't know you can use different graphical 'skin', I thought you were limited to SMB1 assets. That's fucking epic, as the kids say these days.  This is a killer app now. I wonder what sales are looking like.

Oh yeah absolutely. The different styles and themes are what is so great about it!

I've got the game, too.  I haven't unlocked all the materials to make the levels I want, but once I do, expect to see levels based on Pac-Man and Mega Man stages like Bubble Man and Fire Man!

It will happen eventually I'm ceratin of it. I've seen quite a few sonic stages so it's only a matter of time.

Looks pretty damn awesome and even before all these options added after the announcement, it still looked very competent with what was at first shown. I still have some games i'm concentrating in buying before this one, but I hope to get it someday down the line.

Yeah definitely. It's a great game with endless amounts of creativity and playability.

I love it! Actually waited in line to insure I got a copy. Love making levels AND playing others. It's hard to put down. This is one game that's endlessly replayable and inexaustible, and I hope it helps the Wii U sell better.

Yeah I hope so too. Although at this point the Wii U maybe has a year or two left of life before the NX comes into play.

I just saw an ad for it when I went to the theater to see Mission Impossible. I'm interested in seeing what the community makes like they did with Little Big Planet.
