Weird that you were unable to boot from your SSD. Hope you get it working.

Yup, it's over I have completed my right of passage. This blog is being written to you all through my newly built PC!
SPECS!
CPU : i7-4790K 4.00 GHz
GPU : Gigabyte: GeForce GTX 970 4gb
Motherboard : ASUS: Maximus VII Hero
RAM : 16gb
OS : Windows 7 64 bit
PORTS : 2x HDMI 2.0, 3x Display port, 3x DVI, 1x VGA, 2x USB 2.0, 6x USB 3.0, 1x Ethernet LAN
PSU : Corsair 650 (non modular)
Now I did manage to get my money back and get the correct processor but the blog would've arrived sooner if not for booting problems...
Booting my OS
Before I had an operating system I had to learn about the ASUS motherboard BIOS, it looked like Narnia to just how foreign it looked to me so once I assigned/figured out the whole booting process and set my SATA drives to AHCI (I still don't quite get it but essentially if you're using an SSD as a boot drive that's a setting it should be at) I several times tried to load up Win7 to no avail.
I got frustrated and swapped from disk boot to USB with no success, saying that i didn't have the right or no CD/DVD drivers or something.
I then instead of giving up used my mums old vista disk and it worked perfectly (understand this is after trying for 2 during my weekend sleep of which I work in the morning) but last night after some internet re-searches and failed boots from vista I discovered my boot image (.iso on disk files on a USB) was corrupted so I re-downloaded Win7 on a USB which took the whole night (because my internet sucks).
Oddly I had a decent sleep but I don't know why...
When I woke up, the USB became usable, I re-entered my BIOS, changed boot priorities and began a clean install of Win7.
It was a sweeping success!
I have up loaded Steam, chrome and a bunch of other utilities and I played Street Fighter IV for the first time since Xmas! It runs smoothly, other than the odd driver update, no problems, the rig is fairly quiet too. I had a problem getting sound out of my TV through HDMI but apparently you really need to download just about everything to get a PC to work the way you want!
What's next?
Nothing really that important, apart from re-downloading all of my games (and playing them through the night), there are little tweaks hear and there I could do, I left out the little beep-boop speaker that makes all though high pitch computer noises because I didn't know where to put it, I may add another fan to my water cooler as one on each side is better but I only was supplied long enough screws for one... unless i take two out on each corner. Hmm. Though it's a fairly standard midi-case it takes up some room, I had a genius idea to put a board under the rig so it doesn't directly suck up the dust trough the PSU but it pushes my table further down my bedside by approximately 20cm, ill have to relocate. Other than that, s'all good.
For now?
I'm just really pleased, i'm going back to a 4 day shift instead of 5 so I can play and rest a little for the next 2 days, I got MGS: V (which I got free) to download (full confession I've only played Twin Snakes on the Cube and Guns of the Patriots on the PS3), which we know has a large memory. with how crap my internet is, it'll take days
I hope all is well, with all of you. It's happening more and more where I find myself not happy or have the energy for myself, let alone others but this has given me a boost - I hate admitting - I haven't had in a long time. I suppose we all need our own little project.
