I hate people

Why are people such assholes? Why do they seemingly get off on causing other people misery? What happened in their lives that made them so determined to piss off everyone they come into contact with? Why oh why can't post-natal abortions be a thing? Why oh why am I banging on about how much I hate the human race?

Because I'm a petty mother fucker who doesn't like people fucking with his video games, that's why!

Recently, I got pretty into Warframe, a free to play third person shooting game with space ninjas, parkour, and swords. Yes, it is as awesome as it sounds. It plays fantastically, with movement being kinetic and fun, sword play being visceral and gory, and gunplay being about on par with Mass Effect 3. Also, you have MOBA style abilities for your different Warframes, with my one being able to create clones of herself that also shoot when you shoot and do massive damage, and others doing crazy shit like manipulating other dimensions to get their teammates out of harms way. Sure, it's a bit grindy, but when you're having this much fun with a game grinding don't mean shit son.

With a great team, the fun you can have rivals the kind usually involving nudity and orifices. However, that's part of the problem, because a bad team can fuck you up harder than 12 year old coat hanger abortions.

You see, there's a mode called defense. In this mode, you defend things. Naturally. Every 5 rounds you are given the option to take the loot and run. If you stay, there is a chance you'll get greater loot, but also a chance you'll die and lose all of your loot.

Now, people fucking love to say they're going to stay, and then at the last second swap to leaving, so you're either left alone or with one other person - meaning you're all but guaranteed to lose all your loot.

The last match I played lasted an hour before I had this shit pulled on me. AN HOUR. I got no loot from an hour of gameplay because some cunts decided they wanted to troll me. FUCK THEM. This is not the first time it has happened. In fact, it's so rampant that there are dozens of forum posts about it.

What makes these people want to ruin someone else's day for the hell of it? Why are people such jerks? I'm fucking sick of it. It's not just Warframe though. It's any game with team play. People are assholes. Fuck people. Fuck you for reading this blog. Fuck me for writing it. And especially fuck Ghandi right in his bald asshole.

On that note, does anyone want to play Warframe with me?

I laughed all the way through this, because you sound just like me when I'm trying to get to work and there are 50 million stupid tourists doing stupid shit and getting in my way. I think my most used sentence this summer has been "I fucking hate people!"

On a more serious note: yeah, that is a total asshat move and I'd be pissed, too. It's mostly why I don't play with other people online that I don't know.

How do you know Gandhi had a bald asshole? I seriously doubt he had the time to shave his anus. Tongue Out

I hate almost everyone playing online video games.  Between people do things like this, and other dick heads who get pissed at you for not being as good as them when you are first starting out with a game, I rarely ever play cooperative games.  The only time I really ever play multiplayer games (which is rare) is to play free-for-all deathmatches.

This is why I'd like to have more friends to play with online as opposed to strangers, so yeah I'll play Warframe with you. Assuming it runs, cause 10GB and a broadband connection is kinda heavy duty for my laptop.

Yeah. Well, I can tell you it's really well optimised and even on the lowest settings it looks fantastic. I get a buttery smooth 60 fps on ultra, and that's rare for my rig. I usually have to knock back quite a few options to get it up there.

Good thing is, some devs are putting in penalties for stuff like this. Last one I heard about was Halo 5's penalties on people bailing from multiplayer matches. I think there was some for Counter Strike too I heard of that would ban you for a set amount of days for bailing from a match. We need refs in the gaming world for sure. People will always cheat and grief if they aren't watched. Like a bunch of preschoolers. Sheesh!

I actually found a cool facebook group after some shit very similar to this happened to me. Basically some one figured out that when you playing Borderlands 2 as the host, if you pull you interenet right as you kill a raid boss, your toon will stay in the arena and get the loot, the other 3 guys just get robbed and sent back to their loby screen. happend to me twice so I stopped playing with randoms. I only play with folks from the group. That is trully shitty, hate people like that.

That is one of the most dickish things I've ever heard of. Man, that sucks. But... that game doesn't have localised loot so it kind of encourages it a little bit.

People behave that way because they can hide behind the veil of anonnimity (hope I spelled that right) when doing anything online.  There's really no good reason why they do it. Some people just like the sense of poweradvantage that comes with bailing out of a raid or killing a lobby and screwing up the whole flow.

Since 2008, I've only gamed online once to play Ace Combat Online for a week.  and that got old pretty quick. Since I don't have any friends that are online at the same time as me (or we don't have the same games), I just don't bother with online multiplaying anymore.  Too much of a hassle.
