Tuesday: Lots of Tablet Gaming

So Pixl Peeps I don’t know why but the past couple of weeks I’ve been putting off the Monday entries for Tuesday entries. Why? No idea, I think it feels more comfortable to post on Tuesday’s because I have an extra day to maybe play some games, collect my thoughts, you know the usual. Over the weekend I have to say for the second weekend in a row I really wasn’t in the gaming mood, which is odd considering that was the time to play the Battlefront Beta, continue on Lego Dimensions, and any other games I have in Mount Backlog. When I have been playing stuff its usually been on the Asus Memo Pad, because it’s the new toy. I also mixed in some iPad gaming but a good 80% of my free time has been around the Memo Pad.
I started a new career on NCAA Football. I created an offensive coordinator named Huey Reed and led the Texas State Bobcats to a #5 ranking and a last second loss in the Orange Bowl against Boston College. After that terrible end to a season I turned down OC positions at Alabama, and Auburn for a head coaching position with 1-11 Georgia State. Currently the Panthers are 3-0, and most likely I will not move the Panthers to a better conference once I get them up and running into a good program.
I brought my 3DS with me over the weekend as I had a couple of random day trips. I was hoping to earn more gold coins with all the walking and maybe get some new Mii’s. I haven’t checked it but the notification on the message icon is on so I probably picked up some new folks.
Before leaving on Saturday I took in some Ultimate Angler and fished a new spot on the third island. This is easily one of the most enjoyable games to play because it is quick, and you feel like you accomplished something, even if its finding random fish.
As for the Android games I went back to a couple of old favorites on my game list and hit Level 19 in Achievements on my Google Play account.
I tried a bit of Jetpack Joyride and saw that they have a Back to the Future mode, which is a lot of fun. You can to use the Hoverboard and the DeLorean. I just tried it for a couple of games and wondered if it was available on the Vita (I still haven’t checked)
I started back into this game. I know its available on the PS4 but this game I feel is more interesting on the tablet. I think I left off on the second group of unlocked races before calling it a night. The problem with this game is that after every race there are ads. I might have to install the ad removal app. This is another game if the developers charged $1-2 bucks I would have gladly purchased this game.
Still playing this. I moved off the Rookie League and moved into the Extreme or something with a similar name. It comes right after Rookie. I can’t wait for new cars because the four I currently have are getting a little boring.
I went back to this old favorite just to see if I can hit 2 Million points per run. Nothing fancy here.
I played this game since day one on the iPad but I decided to start completely over on the Memo Pad. It’s a little slower when it comes to loading on the Memo Pad, but I do like having the achievements on Google Play rather than on Apple version. I do admit it is not as fun as Mortal Kombat X
I also moved my MKX gaming to the Android Tablet. I have progressed to the middle of the Challenge Map, and connected the game to my WB account. At some point I really should re install Mortal Kombat on the PS4 but I need to clear out space on the PS4. Speaking of space I really should do the Hard Drive swap or maybe looking into that product I saw at GameStop where an external hard housing sits on top of the PS4.
So remember that game 2048? Well I found one on the Google Play store that I think has a bigger board and I’ve been playing it over the past couple of days. Not a bunch of different games, but the same first game I started
I play a couple of minutes here and there and then log out. This game won’t end, and I’m not complaining.
Ok so there is some iPad gaming going on
Simpsons Tapped Out is in Halloween Mode which means a lot of the older Halloween stuff is back, sprinkled in with some new goodies to collect, and make. My town is still a mess but I’m almost done upgrading it.
Need for Speed No Limits had a special guest with his own short run storyline
Snoop Dogg needs your help to defeat another rival Street Racing Team. Snoop lends you a car and you win upgrades for his car. At the end of the storyline’s run everything you earned gets converted to in game cash.
The final game I’ve been playing is Marvel Future Fight and it has a special storyline connected to a certain TV Show
The gang from Agents of SHIELD is in the game and Deathlock is the multiday check-in freebie character. I think you have to check in for 7 days to unlock him. I missed one day but I have enough time to unlock that character.
For you folks who have an Android device Google Play is having a .10 sale on a handful of games
I bought Need for Speed Most Wanted a couple of years ago, and I really enjoyed it (I completed the game on both Android, iOS, Vita, and PS3)
Alright Pixlbit I am off have a good week!
That’s all for now, more later!
