I hated Battlefront.

I really did. I was wishing for an HD style approach to the original games, which were great for solo play and had so many cool maps from the films, and although the game looks great, it plays like a MP shooter, where I was constantly being killed, and then respawning. I played it a lot and got better, but was mostly annoyed half the time. I decided I would skip the game on release, but I might give in and just buy it and suck it up and get better at it. The coin vehicle pickup was stupid. I hope to see more clone war prequel era maps too.

What did you all think? I dont play MP shooters for the record, so this will be a first I guess?

Unfortunately, I missed the beta. Downloaded it, then neglected to play it because I wasn't in the mood for it once I got back from work every day for whatever reason.

I played it to make sure of whether I should buy it or not. I don't want to make a 60$ regret.

That was why I wanted to play it, but I just started a job where I wake up at 4am to catch a van around 4:45AM to work at 5:45AM and we're supposed to get off at 2:45PM.

For whatever reason, I didn't feel like playing it mid-day and was too tired at night. Most of my friends seemed to enjoy it though.

Mainly, I want to know how much EA bullshit is in it. I get really annoyed having to "log in" to my Steam copies of Alice: Madness Returns and Need For Speed, even for single player.

The game looks gorgeous, but after playing the beta, I am going to skip it. It really sucks that it's a strictly online MP experience. I don't play much online MP anymore.

I love mp shooters. Hated BF beta. The maps were dull, the vehicle coin was stupid and the lack of classes/weapons really hurt it. I have no desire to continue.

Once I read about the focus on multiplayer, I lost interest. That game is dead to me.

Same here. I was hoping MP was pushed to the side at least made optional, but it looks more like Battlefield MP with lvl grinding.

It shouldnt have been called battlefront, because it isn't. It's more battlefield Star Wars edition.

Game is full of bad ideas. Worst Battlefront so far. I wish today's developers would stop fucking with proven standards from the past.

There is alpha footage of BF3 with dark Jedis too. This isn't that though, it's something else entirely.

I kept getting killed in game but I don't play a lot of FPS online so I expected as much. The game looks good, and I'm curious to see what other maps are available. I enjoyed the first two games on PS2, and even the PSP game. I'm on the fence about buying it on release day because I did that with Desitny, where I loved the beta, but hated the game
