I'm really itching to get one of these life-sim games just for the opportunity to go holiday theme crazy in them.
Not so much of a hell of a time...

I haven’t really done anything in the spirit of Halloween so far, except for buying furniture for my basement in New Leaf. But since I will have a full week off (I better with all the crap that’s going on there.) I can watch the shows and play a horror game then. I think I’ll stick with one game for this month: System Shock 2. I did have plans to play L4D2 with a good friend of mine but suddenly as of 12pm today my dad’s PC just had some problems. Could be the CMOS battery, power supply, or motherboard. Considering my luck my zombie plans are screwed.
This also means no New Vegas for awhile. And I had a new character idea lined up: The Nerdy Raider. Essentially it was going to be an intelligent gun nut that focuses on Science, Energy Weapons, Guns, and Repair. I haven’t worked out the skill points, perks or SPECIAL yet but when I get around it I’ll post it here. Also on another Bethesda game I was thinking of trying to build another two characters: a new thief and the werewolf. The thief is going to be a straightforward non-magic one that focuses on what a thief should: getting rich.
The werewolf is a bit more complicated: I was thinking of making a khajiit character and train its smithing and heavy armor to 100 so it can utilize dragon armor with legendary upgrades. What is the logic in this? Well, khajiit are natural hand-to-hand fighters and there’s a perk on the heavy armor skill tree that uses the armor’s DP as AP. Now I believe I know what you are thinking: Why didn’t you just say you’re making a fist fighter? You can make almost anything a fist fighter and make take the hand-to-hand only challenge there. But I kind of want to do a bit of a RP thing for the character. Normally under the circumstance when you’re an unnatural force of power that is weak against silver you tend to develop metallophobia. So no weapons and steering clear of metal, or at least use as little of it as possible.
To finish this blog off I would like to mention that my little Halloween review, a piece on The Blackwell Legacy, is now up for viewing. You can read it by clicking here. I have another review going through but that’s for another time. For now I need to get some things done before it’s bit too late. Until next time.

Edit: I fixed it. Whatever I did (which I assume involved accidently putting it on sleep mode and trying to hard boot it) I just needed to remove the CMOS battery and blank out the bios.
Also on another note, tried running The Wolf Among Us on my phone. Tried but it kept crashing due to lack of resources. Oh well, I'll wait for a sale.
