My friend says he saw Carrie Fisher in that Monday Night Football SW trailer, but I didn't. We're thinking the Darth Vader replacement is Mark Hamill. Then we had a long conversation about how it could be possible for Luke to turn to the dark side. We couldn't see a good enough reason for it. I hope the movie explains that well.
At Some Point I'll Use My Consoles & Amazon Has A PS4 Deal

Tuesday Pixlpeeps, Tuesday is here. I really should get back to my Monday entries but I like the Tuesday vibe. An extra day to maybe squeeze one more day of games for the update, be lazy about what I want to write about, and catch up with the blog entries you good people have written. So far my PS4, 360, Vita, and 3DS all haven’t been powered on. No reason other than when I do want to play an actual console game I’ve been hitting the PS3, but more on that later. This morning while browsing through Slickdeals I saw this ad, and thought of you folks. For you folks who are on the fence about which console to get this is a pretty good bundle
For $400 you get the PS4, Uncharted Collection in case you didn’t play those games on the PS3 (its in voucher form), the 500GB console (you might want to think about buying a 1 or 2 TB hard drive), and the Guitar Hero game with plastic guitar. I mentioned earlier that you might want to buy a hard drive replacement because since it’s a new console it will be easier to just upgrade the hard drive now instead of down the road when you have it full of game saves, games, and such. I guess there are “new” trophies for Uncharted, which should get another look from you folks who like collecting them. I’m sticking with my new rule of not buying any remastered games for the PS4 that I have already played on the PS3/360. I actually might amend my rule to just include PS3, if I really liked the game on 360.
Anyways something to think about unless you’re waiting for Black Friday.
Since I haven’t powered up my consoles/handhelds for a bit what exactly am I playing? I should be playing Lego Dimensions, the game I spent A LOT of money on. Lego Jurassic World should be played as well, along with the recent games I picked up over the past couple of weeks, but instead I’ve been sticking to the usual lineup of tablet and PS3 games. Nothing against my consoles but I’ve been outside, or sitting on the couch and its easier to just load up a quick game, play it for 10-15 minutes and then go back to watching TV, or reading random articles. I usually go through these funks and it will be followed by nothing but console/handheld gaming. Heck later on today I might do some PS4 to Vita streaming. We shall see.
I continued my first season with Georgia State, where they went 11-1 in the regular season. The Panthers lost a heartbreaker at Arkansas State when they blew a 14-point lead to lose by a Field Goal. The offense couldn’t get anything rolling in the 2nd half and the defense got steamrolled. The Panthers ended up winning the Sun Belt and playing in the New Orleans Bowl I think against UTEP. After winning that game my Defensive Coordinator took the Head Coaching job at Duke and I went to Cal but still saved a Georgia State file.
After playing a half with Cal, I decided it wasn’t as fun, and went back to my GSU save. Currently the Panthers are 10 games into the second season, undefeated and ranked #3. I’m probably going to stick with Georgia State for a bit.
I saw that there is a new Super Card game and I downloaded it on the iPad.
The concept is the same as the WWE game where you assemble a team but this time it’s a line for a Hockey Team (A Center, Left Wing, Right Wing, two for Defense, and a Goalie) You upgrade the players stats by Training them by sacrificing lower cards to build up their stats, and face other people’s Hockey lines. There is a season mode, which is a tournament where the winner can get a rare card. I’m sticking with Quick Games because I don’t want to constantly check on my season and refill the energy bars.
This is my current squad. This is my go to game to play a quick 5-6 games (each game maybe takes 2 minutes), get my fix and move on.
In my fighting games on the Asus Memo Pad I unlocked two new characters in different games
Johnny Cage is now available in WWE Immortals, and Gunslinger is available in Mortal Kombat X. Both were unlocked through tournaments.
Speaking of unlocking characters I unlocked one from Agents of SHIELD in Marvel’s Future Fight
I fulfilled the 7-day check-in to get Deathlok.
Last night I went back to an old favorite because Google Play keeps reminding me that it is in my library so I added it to my tablet. Apparently now I can’t log into my account to continue to add on to my current record where I unlocked everything except for the special NFS Black cars.
The game looks good, the sense of speed is still there and wow the game takes up 2 GB. Thank goodness I have the app that transfers the bigger file to the SD card. I’ll probably pass this game again.
I started using this app on my phone to keep track of my small Lego Dimensions collection
This app is simple. You place the box of any add-on set in front of your camera and the app ads it to your collection. The camera is quick but it at points it needs to be reset. I had a problem adding the Wizard of Oz Fun Pack.
It gives you information about the packs you add, and the more you ad, the more badges you collect. I guess you can unlock wallpapers.
If folks really wanted to, they could probably just stand at Toys R Us, or Target and just scan all the boxes there to unlock the badges.
Before I end my latest entry I know everyone saw the new Star Wars Trailer last night. I thought it was interesting but I’m waiting for the Screenjunkies breakdown. Reddit had the official movie poster I thin on Sunday, but my favorite is the Lego version
Have a good week Pixlbit!
That’s all for now, more later!
