PlayStation Store Dysfunction

So when I went to enter my credit card security number so I could get the deal on Shadow of Mordor GOTY, the transaction didn't go through after a little window popped up telling me there was a problem.

Same happened just now when I tried getting the DeLorean DLC for Rocket League.

Card works everywhere else I've tried it and I'm reading security code off back of it.

What gives?

Is it because of that massive $100 purchase I made a couple days ago with the rest of my grad money? Wouldn't think they'd limit me for more than just a single purchase/day.

Weird.

I don't think they'd limit your purchasing, but maybe something is down somewhere on the network. Did you try again after waiting a while?

I just buy points cards at the store instead of purchasing games on consoles via credit card directly.  Don't trust those online shops in consoles (not like stores are any better, I guess).

if I wasn't lazy, I'd do the same thing. I have mixed feelings about putting my card in there too.

I don't really trust Sony either, which is why I plan to go your route or just put a different card on there. But honestly, I check my bank account every day, so I'll know if something is up.

If you are trying to do this on your PS4, don't. Log into your account using a PC and put your information in that way. I've found that it works much better for buying and adding money to my wallet.

Actually I was thinking of logging into my PS4 specifically because this is my first time having problems as well as my first time on PC.

I've never had a problem on PC but I've had the PS3 refuse to even recognize my card.

I've never had an issue with my PS4. Must have fixed whatever ailed the PS3 in that regard I guess.

I've had that problem with the PSN store myself, with my PS3. I've gone the point card way myself since then.

Yeah, seems to be the way to go. I'm sure I'll get more Sony Rewards points for setting that up anyway.

You are brave adding your credit card to Sony's Playstation Store. I'd call Sony to see what the problem is. I'm a point card person on consoles because it helps limit what I'm buying and just in case of security problems.

Yeah, I should take my cc off. I know nothing has happened since i check my acct every day, but points seem to be the way to go.

I set my limit at $5 which is why I end up using my card all the time for these $10-30 game sales lolNeed to change that
