Yo-Kai Watch Demo - Well that was charming as heck

I just finished the demo. It's not too long but gives you a chance to find a bunch of Yo-Kai and explore the battle system which is something a little different. You basically choose fight and then rotate various Yo-Kai on a ring into position to charge them up. In order to charge up an attack you play mini games like tracing shapes, popping bubbles or spinning in circles with your stylus. As in most RPGs you gain experience by defeating enemies

It's definitely geared toward the younger set but for what it's worth it was a fun half hour.

I might but it's not something I'm going to pay anywhere close to full price for. I do like the unique battle system though. Download the demo and Legend of Legacy if you still haven't.

oh I forgot about Legacy.  Did you like the music for that? I heard it was quite good.

The music is great in Legacy.

Thanks for the reminder.  I'll see about downloading the demo soon.  Have you seen the cartoon yet?

Nah, I wouldn't even know where to find it.

It's on the Disney XD cable channel.  Usually comes on around 4 in the afternoon (Central Time), on Monday or Tuesday.  I have to DVR it because I have to be an adult and go to work. :)

I just downloaded the demo last night and hope to try it this weekend.

I played the demo and while I hate that its soo short, I did have fun with it. Im adding it to the buy list. I might not get it at launch but maybe around Dec.

It's too bad that the game is made for babies, apparently. At least that's what I've been reading on the Internets, that it lacks the depth of pokemons. Oh well.

I dunno, there was enough going on in the battle system to keep me amused. There's quite a bit going on and it's actually fast paced. I would frequently miss the fact that some of my Yo-Kai had been killed while I was busily trying to charge one up with the touch screen.
