I can listen to music when I write for some things.. for others, not so much.
I definitely can't write while the TV is going. In fact, I prefer to be out of the room when the TV is on, cause I hate that shit.

Okay, I’ll admit: I have been procrastinating both my vacation plans and some writing but I think it’s time to get into things. After I’m done posting this blog I’m going straight to my PC in the living room and start up System Shock 2. As far as writing is concerned I’ve been having mixed thoughts about it. One moment I’m up to writing a review but then suddenly I ask myself what am I doing. When I email the current review I’m writing I’ll talk to the guy. Writing blogs on the other hand is something I have been seriously putting off, even though nothing has really happened. Though I have discovered something about my ability to write or work in general.
Usually people listen to music as they work to help them concentrate, or something in the lines of that. On simple jobs like chores I don’t mind music but it’s when I’m either writing or doing something that requires more thought processing is when I need it to be quiet, aside from some white noise like a fan in the background. So all this time I’ve been slowing myself down with YouTube videos of Starbomb and other songs to drown out even more noise from the TV. My fix for the problem is retreating to my room and write on my laptop, though considering how slow my connection to the Internet is with my web browser is I have to tweak it later. Maybe after vacation.
Come to think of it I have been procrastinating on a lot of things, especially with Pokemon. I still have the Delta Episode to finish and I have a bunch of games on my backlog. I have to think about this. Anyways, Sometime this week I’ll be binge watching this:
Till next time. Oh, and here's another review link at the bottom.
Deus Ex: Revision PC Review [Link]
Edit: I did what I wrote early in the blog. I'm still going to write blogs but I think I'll rest on what's left of my vacation first.
How long have you been writing reviews? I usually make notes while I'm playing a game to make writing easier later on, like a cheat sheet. As for music while writing, I can't listen to anything with lyrics. Mainly atmospheric soundtracks help me like the Bloodborne or Dark Souls soundtrack.
I have a hard time going back and playing early PC games like Fallout, Baldur's Gate so does this patch/update make the game easier for newbs to the game? Congrats on the review job if you just started.
I haven't been writing long for the site I'm doing reviews for but I've been dabbling with those for some time, a few here and back when 1UP was a thing. Also tried blogger but that went down a long time ago.
Deus Ex Revision fixes some bugs as well as give the graphics and level design an overhaul. For making things easier that would depend on preference between skills and augments. If you want to focus on skills such as lockpicking, weapons, and so on then changing the gameplay mode to Shifter would be your thing: you get points based on what you do, much like Deus Ex HR, and you can swap out augments akin to Invisible War. The Biomod gameplay mod focuses on the augments: energy is not used when you turn it on until you actually use it for what it is designed to do. And as far as I noticed between all modes item use for equipment such as rebreathers and optic cameo can be turned on and off instead of constantly going after activation.
For Fallout Classic I can recommend The Fixt Patch mod. Installation gives you options from normal fixes and editing the time limits in the game. Thanks for the congrats. The Deus Ex Revision review is the fifth one I've done.
