What the Heck Have I Been Up To?

My gaming world have been very fragmented and without any consistency at all. So what else is new?

I picked up Shadow of Mordor when it was on sale a couple of weeks back along with Lunar: Silver Star Harmony which was 6 bucks. I sold my physical copy of Lunar ages ago. I wasn't a huge fan of the PSP game. I had a copy of the PS1 version and never got around to playing that one before it sold. Maybe the PSP version isn't the same because I know it is considered a classic by many.

I also picked up The Evil Within when it was on sale on PSN. I haven't touched it yet. I also got Dragon Fin Soup which I am keen to check out this weekend.

Still waiting for instructions on getting my English version of Tomba! 2. I haven't seen anything so far.

I've also volunteered to be a moderator here at Pixlbit. We don't get tons of issues here but I want to make sure that spam and scammers don't stay around for long.

I think that's about it. I'm lacking motivation to do much lately and caffeine doesn't seem to help.

What have you guys been up to?

sounds like things are going well. My problem with the PSP version of Lunar, is the music fades out and then in again whenever you change screens, so if you go in a shop in a town, the music kind of chokes for a moment before it comes on again. It's very annoying, annoying enough that I didn't finish the game. I do have it on iOS though, and I'm gonna give it another whirl once I get a new phone sometime.

I downloaded Dragon Fin Soup too, but haven't played it yet.

I just got Tales of Zestiria in the mail. Gonna play it this afternoon.

I too had my eyes on The Evil Within, Resident Evil remake, and Shadow of Mordor when they were on sale, but I've decided to only purchase things I already consciously wanted to purchase unless the sale is below $10. I consider the $100 spree that got me GTA V, Bloodborne and some indies a fluke since that was with graduation money. Gift money doesn't count.

As for what I've been doing, I signed up for NanoWrimo. That's as far as I got ... maybe coffee would work for me? I did gamble Monday when I was in Shreveport for work, drink a lot of cheap alcohol Tuesday after Bossier City, slept Thursday, and still have a lot of debt as of today, so in a lot of ways I'm pretty much a modern day Dostoyevsky.

I want to play Shadow of Mordor so bad. If it goes on sale on Xbox, I'll pick it up for sure.

I played Lunar Silver Star Harmony on PSP. I liked it a lot. I want to play it again.

I tried Shadows of Mordor, but I couldn't get into it. And yeah, I didn't like the PSP version of Lunar either. The new artstyle cheapened it.

I thought that I'd try out Shadow of Mordor because it was only 12 bucks. I had a physical copy for a while before that but traded it towards my new 3DS without ever playing it.

For me it wasn't the art style of Lunar that put me off, I just didn't get into the story and found the battles way too easy. I'm playing it again though. :)

Dude....I've just been playing backlog stuff lately. I haven't really had the dough lately to play the newer releases, though I'm really excited to pick up copies of The Taken King, Fallout 4 and maybe Battlefront this Xmas.

My wife's been finding a lot of Lego Dimensions booster packs at the Goodwill here in town lately, along with random lego sets for Xander. Xander ended up opening one of the booster packs last night (Marty McFly) and I had to explain to him that he needed to set it aside and wait a bit.

Now I'm locked into a Dimensions purchase, for sure.

Not sure why I shared that lol.

Hey you're a mod, cool stuff. I'll send complaints when the random blocks in French, or one selling stuff pop up again

I tried out Tomba on the Vita but I can't get the dang screen to use the whole Vita screen. I'm probably missing something, and I'll check again later.

Not a mod yet. Waiting for Nick to set up some things first. I'm still waiting for my free update of Tomba! 2 still no word from Sony. :(
