I pre-ordered the game, too, but I haven't played it yet. I'm going to Alabama next week to visit family, and it can sometimes get a little boring and slow there, so I may save it to play then. I think the cartoon is pretty awful, but I watch it anyway. It's so bad it's good, in a MST3K sort of way. Nintendo isn't marketing it enough like they did Pokemon, so I don't see it getting as popular here as it is in Japan.
Yokai Watch, The Game and Show

Ive been enjoying Yokai Watch for some time now, they started the first season of the show here in the US back in October and we got the 1st game just this Friday. We are way behind compared to Japan. Im hopeing though it will pick up in populairty here because Id like for it to stay around. I was the only person who preordered the game in my area of Fort Worth. The show is pretty good with several adult themes and the game in some ways plays similar to a pokemon game but the way you catch Yokai differs in that you have to befriend them to get the medal and the game sort of plays out like the show. It has senarios that it breaks itself up into. You of course can do what you want before tackling any of the goals. I figure they did it like that to give you freedom but to also give you a path as well when you wanna work on story stuff.
If you have Disney XD the show comes on I believe around 5pm or 8pm. However if you are like me and stuff like that is too expensive then here is a link for current episodes that are dubbed. They do have the other 89 episodes subbed in english if your okay with that. I prefer the dubbed stuff but if they cancel it over here I might just have to switch to the subbed to keep watching.
