Do you like prog? Well, I'm guessing you do since you clicked on the link. What? You're just here for my body? Oh you. I guess you can stay. There will be prog though, so it might make things difficult.

Caligula's Horse - Marigold

Sounding like a mix of Opeth inspire riffing with Karnivool style vocals, it's pretty sweet.

Between The Buried and Me - The Coma Machine

That weird band that mixes a ton of genres and shouldn't be mainstream but somehow everyone on earth knows. Fuck it, they're still good.

Riverside - Discard Your Fear

That band what's a lot like Porcupine Tree but with more emphasis on Atmosphere and what not.

Steven Wilson - Routine

That guy what was the frontman of porcupine tree, the man who's basically Pink Floyd if Pink Floyd kept making good music into the millenium.

Swallow the Sun - Heart of a Cold White Land

Mildly proggy melodic death metal/depressing doom metal outfit released a FUCKING TRIPLE ALBUM! And the second one is just beautiful acoustic pieces? Sign me the fuck up!

Enslaved - One Thousand Years of Rain

Did the past two songs put you to sleep? Well here's some Enslaved to wake you right the fuck back up. Enjoy.

Leprous - The Flood

Almost definitely my album of the year, Leprous just kick so much ass. Taking more from Tool than they do 70's prog rock, they are a much needed revitalisation of the genre. Seriously, how do they play songs at 12/5 and still be catchy as fuck?

I'm working on my triple album but taking a break for a few months.  Triple albums are definitely where the coolest kids are.

At first when I read your blog title I thought it said "Froggy Goodness."

I've been trying to find Porcupine Tree and Spock's Beard albums out there in the wild, but not much luck. I got one Porcupine Tree album and a couple Steven Wilson albums to put on my iPod. All those above are pretty interesting bands.

Nice picks. I have some catching up to do this year, music/prog rock wise.
