Got a PS4!

I finally bought a PS4. I mostly bought it because I wanted a second Blu-ray player, as I have yet to actually play a game on it! There are loads of great exclusives coming out next year but right now there are no games I want to play for it.

I've had more time off work lately, which means I'm playing and buying more games than usual. Funny how making less money means spending more money! Anyhow, on with the games:

Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection

The included game with my PS4. I have kind of been wanting to replay Uncharted 3 but Uncharted 4 comes out so soon, so I might just wait.

Rainbow Six Siege

I just ordered this one. Looking forward to co-oping this with a friend and playing the included Rainbow Six Vegas 1 & 2.

Destiny: The Taken King

I am amazed how much the expansions has improved this game. I'm incredibly addicted to improving my character and getting good loot. Unfortunately, the story is still utter nonsense, but at least they injected some humor this time.

Final Fantasy Type-0

I couldn't really get into this one. Too much randomly talking to people to advance the story and the gameplay got repetitive fast. Never was a fan of more action-oriented RPGs.

Front Mission Evolved

I loved this game on the PS3 so I'm looking forward to playing it again on the 360. Criminally underrated, as this game was much better than the reviews let on.

Otomedius Excellent

This game sucks. That's not a bad thing though as I feel I need as bad, trashy game to play once in a while. A good way to zone out and listen to podcasts while playing one.

Zero Escape Volume 1: 999

I was always curious about the hype with the Zero Escape series. This first one is like a video game version of Saw II, which is cool but it's too bad all the characters seem like typical anime stereotypes. I have little urge to save the lives of any of them, but maybe that will change.

Final Fantasy III

The only offline, numbered Final Fantasy I have yet to beat. I figured I might as well go for it. Hopefully it is still fun despite the age of the original.

I was gonna wait for a price drop, but swapping discs all the time is hard. 2016 will be a great year for PS4 though.

I'm not quite that bad, just when I have lots of time off, I play more games. And the more I play, the more I buy. I'm already thinking of buying a few more because I'm already done with most of these!

Actually that's on Microsoft. They're really pushing XB1 backwards compatibility and had Bethesda do that with Fallout 3 included with 4 and Just Cause 2 included with 3.

Hey congrats on the PS4! Technically my PS4 is also my second Blu-ray player too, but I've never watched a movie on it. Heck I haven't used my Blu-ray player in over a year.

Otomedius is such an odd but interesting shooter. I bought it awhile back and yeah its a good game to just zone out on while listening to podcasts.

PS4 has a great future ahead of it, but there are few exclusives that interest me right now.

Good to see someone else who has even heard of Otomedius. I only bought the game because it was dead-cheap in the bargain bin.
