On the 1st Day of ChriSMASH...
Hey Pixlbit how's it going? Christmas is almost upon on, there's actually 12 more Days till Christmas. And 3 more days till the Super Smash Bros. Direct, which I'm so excited for. I had an idea about Smash and Christmas, I just mashed the words together and noticed that ChriSMASH sounds like Christmas. So I guess I decided to do something with it and will be posting about Smash for 12 Days, till the 24th. They'll be about 12 of my favorite characters from Smash, 1 each day. No, it wont be ranked, I'll post characters randomly, except when I say otherwise. Oh, and it wont be an expert analysis on the characters, just my thoughts on them and opinions. So hope you look forward to that.
So, on the 1st Day of ChriSMASH, the character I'll post about...
Mr. Video Game Himself, Mario. Everyone loves Mario, I don't think I've ever met anyone who doesn't like Mario. Mario was in fact the very first character I used in the 1st Smash Bros. game on the N64. I guess it was because it was one of the few characters I recognized from the roster at the time among unfamiliar characters at the time.
Mario is a well-rounded fighter, he's perfect for anyone playing Smash for the first time, but he can be an excellent fighter in capable hands. Alot of Mario's moves are from his games, like the fireball from nearly every Mario game, the Super Cape from Super Mario World, and F.L.U.D.D. from Super Mario Sunshine.
Even Mario's taunts are references to the games he's been in. One thing I have noticed about Mario, is that he seems to get angrier in each installment. Or maybe it's more of a determination thing? I don't know, all I know is that Mario is fun to use.
