The Masked Swordsman, Meta Knight. Meta Knight has always been my favorite Kirby character. He so mysterious, sometimes he fights Kirby, other times he doesn't. Recent games have shown Meta Knight to be an ally of Kirby, or at least against a common foe. I first saw him when I borrowed Kirby: Nightmare in Dreamland from my brother. I thought he was awesome. Unlike the other bosses in the game, Meta Knight wouldn't fight you unless you picked up a sword when you fought him. Yes, even despite entering his boss room with a Sword ability.

In Brawl I finally got my chance to fight as him. It was awesome. He hit fast and he was strong. Unfortunately that meant that he was unbalanced, and later on he became banned from competitive play. It made sense since you could chain up attacks really quick in rapid succession, so you can imagine it got annoying.

He was nerfed in Smash 4. He still hits fast, but I'm not sure if you could chain up attacks like before, since I rarely use him now. He's still a cool character to play as though.
