They are getting smarter atleast on facebook. Over Tumblr, these kinds of messages are so common on the message inboxes nobody falls for them and are so obvious in their intentions.

Oh those sneaky scams. Its a pain that they can always find a way in. Hopefully folks here know better, but I am worried if there are younger folks here who click on these scams. 

If you guys are having problems like this, you can do 1 of 2 things:

1) Turn on adblocking. Doesn't matter to me, to be totally honest

2) Let me know what company it says the ad is from and I'll go block them in Google Adsense

I don't even remember where it said it was from but I'll let you know if I see it again. I have an ad for Koodo mobile at the moment.

I wonder what else you could do to generate revenue for the site. I'm all for giving to a drive to keep the site up if it ever comes to that, but sounds like it wouldn't. I'd honestly give to you before Wikipedia, though I might give Wikipedia $3-$10 just cause.
