Boxing Day Sales.

I think I'm finally getting a new console on Boxing day. Walmart is advertising the Wii U Mario Kart 8 bundle for $279 Canadian and the PS4 Uncharted bundle for $349 Canadian. Those may not look great to you muricans but our buck is only worth 72 cents US so they are pretty much a bargain at those prices.

I'm a bit torn but I think there's more I want to play on Wii U starting with Xenoblade Chronicles X and I can play all my physical Wii games too so I may go that way. Then again I have a shitload of PSN+ games for PS4.

We'll see how I feel at 7:00 AM on the 26th. Could wind up with nothing

You know you want Xenoblade. And there's lots of other Wii U games too I think you'll enjoy. the PS4 can wait.

For you I think the Wii U may be the better bet, but a lot of those PSN+ games have indie stuff in your style. They're not the big AAA hitters though and with the Wii U bundle you get Mario Kart.

And those sound like deals to this American, though I'm always curious if you guys see us as the "greener pasture" some of the more liberal Americans see Canada as or do you just think we are a murder capital of death and despair? Those are really the only two options, I don't buy that anyone has a nuanced opinion.
