Didn't know about #12 hahahahaha, but alas we are humans so deceit is natural to us. This list is deceit to begin with.

#10 happens in a lot of places of the world. Like for me being Portuguese and getting confused of being spanish. My name doesn't help the poor souls either hahahaha.

#20 some of us might, and some of us do have to. Just like in the US.

#24 LMAO (Wouldn't know of its truth, as I don't follow hockey)

#30 is just stupid. Nobody owns the North Pole.

I don't know how many actually do that vs. say they will.

Are you saying not all Spanish speakers are Mexican? I'm confused now.

I check for polar bears under my bed. They're everywhere in Texas.

The Toronto BlueJays are in no danger of winning a World Series any time soon. GO STARS! (who admittedly are probably not from America, but I can't tell you that for sure).

I think it's Finland that has a place where you can visit Santa and the elves year round. I say they get it for effort.

I think the best thing about Canada is that lots of game companies are setting up shop there. I'd like to be a part of that.

I think I heard Gearbox just started a small studio up there. Probably to do phone games.

Montreal is apparently the hot spot for game studios right now.

I kinda like that they're so close to me (and especially Carey) in Frisco, TX.

Yep, pretty much all true (says the guy who was born in England, lived there his first 12 years and is Canadian by paper).

I first heard about the Canadian flag pin when I was working in Amsterdam. I was told to wear one because the Dutch hate Americans and love Canadians. It got me a lot of free beers and conversation in the hotel bar.

I knew a couple of these. Where I live there are a lot of Canadians that stay here during the winter. They drive slow, are really nice, and from what I've seen they really like the Saskatchewan Roughriders. That's the only CFL team I ever see represented here. Heck one year the local Marshall's sold caps and shirts.

Rough Riders, eh?
