Hey everyone, how have you been?

There are games out there that people love so much, they give it so much praise. You get to play the game in question, but don't really get all the hype. This tends to be called overrated. Last time we talked about your favorite underrated games, so the question of the week is: What is the most overrated game you ever played? As usual, list 5 if you don't think 1 is enough. It can be an overrated game you liked or didn't. Oh and keep in mind about spoilers.

I don't get why post-Walking Dead TellTale games get so much praise now. No gameplay, and they just lead you around by the nose. I miss the old TellTale.

I just couldn't get into xenoBlade. I don't really like Uncharted either.

Majora's Mask is both overrated and underrated in my opinion. Underrated in that it's so dark and has such a great idea with the masks and even the idea of the time system ... but so overrated because I really hate waiting for that time system.

Also, I really love GTA V and have played it to death, but I'm honestly surprised how much there is you CAN'T do in the game. And truth be told IO always liked the main GTA games and never really cared about the side stuff everyone did with cop chases. If anything, the cops annoy me when I just want to take a car somewhere.

Bioshock Infinite and Uncharted 2 also seemed a bit overrated to me, as did Fallout 3 when it was big. But I only played the first two on PS Now for a bit and I'll have to play my $5 Steam copy of Fallout 3 to see if playing it is a lot more interesting than what I have seen of it.

I can't go by review scores, but personal feeling. I can't get into Fallout, Oblivion, Skyrim, GTA, or Assassins Creed. I know it's a travesty to some to group these all together, and I've read plenty of interesting articles about Fallout & Skyrim games, but I just cant get into them at all. Ironically I play a lot of MMOs, and open worlds dont bother me too much, but the super long, open sandbox games have never appealed to me, especially in 3D. I would probably add Minecraft. I aint saying these games are bad, but I don't come away in love with these games at all. I guess I just missed the train on these games?
What are your overrated games CaptN?

Final Fantasy VII.

I know that it is super important, but there is no way its the best FF.

I'd say GTAIV is the most overrated game I've ever played. But Journey, Ni No Kuni, and Metal Gear Solid 4 are definitely up there

Fallout 3. My friends kept telling me that game was the best thing since sliced bread. I played for about 10 hours and never touched again. That's why I don't care about Fallout 4...
