Just a quick update.
I’ve been playing a lot of Yo-Kai Watch and New Vegas and made some progress on both games. I did, however, work on my battle box team on Pokemon Alpha Sapphire from Saturday night to early Sunday morning. It took some hours to train, level a Pokemon pass 50 for a move, using the Pokemon Bank, and using BP gifted from the bank to get some moves. I tried my team out tonight and I lost every single one. I lost a few from the start because I was getting use to my team. Most of the battles were frustrating because they just had a bunch of legendaries, including Rayquaza of course. Last battle was normal. I lost that one of course but my Gengar made it a hollow victory with Destiny Bond. On Pokemon X I’m going to swap out a member of that game’s battle box team.
On my PC I’ve been playing a classic from my childhood, Bio Menace. It’s a blast from the past I got from GOG.com and I’ve been doing better from what I remember.
But aside from that I’ve also been picking up Shovel Knight from where I left off. I got all the armor types (already had all the shovel blade upgrades before hand.) and I’ve beaten Plague Knight and Mole Knight. I’m going to install the game on Dad’s (for better performance) and enter a cosmetic cheat. Speaking of, does Butt Mode work on The Plague of Shadows?

I haven't played Yokai, but then again, I haven't played Pokemon since Blue either.
Was Bio Menace a PC game? It looks like it's somewhere between an NES and SNES title, but doesn't really belong on either.
I think everyone who is following Nintendo is waiting to see what the NX is, and I also think E3 may be the time to see it. If you have a 3DS you can pick up Pokemon Blue again. Bio Menace is an old DOS game. My dad found the shareware on a BBS when that was a thing. The full game with all four episodes is free for the moment so go ahead and check it out.
Yeah I knew about Pokemon Blue for 3DS, but I haven't decided if I'll buy a 3DS just yet.
Well, if it helps there's going to be a -New- Nintendo 3DS bundle with cover plates based on the original artwork of the gen 1 box covers and comes with both Red and Blue pre-installed.
Depends on price, and I may want a Vita now I'm aware of the streaming stuff you can do from PS4, but that does sound tempting.
NX with no disc drive. Boy. I wonder if Ninendo will do that. Seems unlikely to me, but they are always full of surprises.
I heard there's going to be a memory card / cartridge slot, kind of similar to the Vita or 3DS.
A card/cartridge slot would make sense but that's something that needs to be seen.
Those are the rumor but we'll have to wait and see.

Did you get the Shovel Knight amiibo figure?
On Yo-Kai Watch I'm at Rank D. Doing some quests before I move on with the story. I did not get a Shovel Knight amiibo figure... Kind of have other things on my list...
I keep meaning to play New Vegas as I love Obsidian's game design and storytelling, but now that Fallout 4 is out I'm like hmmmmm.....
I don't have anything that can run Fallout 4 so I'm on New Vegas for the time being.
Even as someone that embraced the digital method of Steam, i'm wary of Nintendo dropping discs as I don't support full always online. Good thing they are only rumours. I'm hoping for backwards compatibility.
As for Metroid, I do think Nintendo is aware people want a new game back, but i'd like to speculate that they are trying to find a way to make non-canon Other M and convince Sakamoto to drop the clusterfuck (Still haven't played the game btw).
Loved the Wii U praise article. The Wii U may have some problems, but I love that thing.
Hopefully there will be a physical medium for the NX all things considered.
Droping Other M maybe but not easily forgotten. The game has left quite a wake on the Internet.
Not sure if I'm going to get a Wii U soon. I may stick with PC and handhelds. Thanks on the comment about the Wii U article.
