I haven't actually thought about what is coming out this year. I know that I want Horizon and Uncharted, but I am not overly excited about anything at the moment.
What are your most anticipated games of 2016?

Hey everyone! Since I have more time on my hands, I want to be more involved in writing on here and really connecting with you ladies and gentlemen. When I first started on Pixlbit, I was a newcomer into writing about video games, media, and anything geek related. And you all welcomed me with open arms and always gave me positive and helpful feedback and I'm grateful for that!
So with that said, these past few days I"ve been looking at the games I am planning to get this year and I want to know what are you all looking forward to this year?
Tom Clancy's The Division
I have been very excited for this game ever since it got announced. A virus outbreaks thorughout the city and just wipes out civilization from the grid. There are still survivors who are either able to still live, are infected, or about to perish. You're job is basically to survive. It really brings out the feel of actually scavenging the city for supplies and utilizing the effort of teamwork and trust. With this game, I feel as though I would play solo just because my friends will be complete a**holes and kill me while my back is turned and steal all my loot. Yeah...this can happen in this game. But this game really looks like fun and can't wait to play it.
Uncharted 4: A Thief's End
This cannot be true! Nathan Drake's tale can't end now!! I LOVED the Uncharted series on PS3 and still working on the PS4 version. If you've never played any of the Uncharted games, IT IS A MUST FOR PLAYSTATION OWNERS. Think of this generation's Indiana Jones mixed with quirky humour and gunplay.
Battleborn
This game is made from the creators of the Borderlands series. I have played numerous hours of 1, 2, and The Pre-Sequel. And on multiple consoles/handheld. I played the beta a few months back and it had very interesting characters. The graphics, gameplay, enemies, and environment really gave me a Borderlands feel to it. This game is Gearbox Studios' first MOBA(Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) video game. Now I am failry new to MOBA's so this game will be a good step into the genre. From what I played there were two modes. A co-op campaign where you fight through an area to get to the main boss. Where in this case, it was a huge arena type location with a huge robot boss. It was packed with tons of abilities and skills you can upgrade thorughout playing. Similar to the skill trees that Borderlands had. You would have your basic offensive skill tree, a support, and some sort of tree where you have crazy bada** powers. The competitve side really challenged me because the type of multiplayer it had reminded me of an easier version of CS:GO. I want to get into those types of games so this would be a great way to start. And since its by the studio behind Borderlands, you know I'll be getting it.
Overwatch
From the studio that brought Diablo and Starcraft, this will be the first shooter they would make. Once the announcement was made, I knew I was going to look forward into the game. I haven't played anything of the game yet but from what I've seen on Twitch streams, this game is somewhat similar to Battleborn but not in the MOBA aspect. Just more of the creative characters. This is another competitve shooting game. This reminds me more of Team Fortress 2 in a way.
Mass Effect: Andromeda
From the E3 press event, Mass Effect: Andromeda was probably the one game that really caught me off guard. I still have yet to finish Mass Effect 3 because of the huge backlog I have of games. Hopefully I get to finish it before Andromeda releases.
Horizon Zero Dawn
From the developers behind the Killzone series, Horizon looks like a big step in Playstation's lineup for 2016. From what was shown in E3, it seems like an action adventure game that takes place in the future where mankind is no longer the hunters. Instead, you're presented with a woman lead in the game up against this gigantic jaguar looking robot. I'm very happy to see a woman lead role in this game because usually women in video games kick so much a**.
No Man's Sky
This game looks to be something we have never experienced before. With this game, you get to travel to different planets and explore the lands. What blows my mind is the travel. You get into your ship and launch from the planet. Going from the ground and seeing yourself ascend into the universe. Just that element alone is so crazy to me.
Far Cry Primal
If any of you played Far Cry 4, you know how big of a step up there was from part 3. I still have yet to finish 4 but from what I've played, I really enjoyed it. Primal looks like it will take you back way before any of the time periods that the previous Far Cry games took place. The setting looks to be in the Cretaceous period. Seems to be a great way to take a breather from all the futuristic weapons and environments in games.
The Legend of Zelda Wii U
I was never a huge fan of TLoZ games to be honest, but I still played a few titles. This was a huge thing for the Wii U. Especially when you put one of their best franchises and make an open world adventure game for it. What I heard is that the world of this game is either twice the size of Skyrim or just a bit much larger. Either or, I am getting this game.
Bravely Second
Bravely Default is still my favorite 3DS game. And I still haven't completed it yet. Darn you backlog. This game brings back good memories of Final Fantasy V. If you've played that game, you will definitely have a flashback when you play Default. With Second releasing this year, I will really try to finish Default soon.
Final Fantasy XV
I'll be honest, the main reason why I bought Final Fantasy Type-0 was for the XV demo. Type-0 I believe was never released in the U.S. until SquareEnix decided to bring it to the states and to the next gen consoles. Don't get me wrong, I played it for a few hours and i'll say I enjoyed it but its something I would probably only play once and not pick it up for a very long time. The different style of combat in XV is not your traditional hit X to attack and/or use magic. This is where you actually can move around and attack from different angles. More of an action combat than turn based. Each character in the game has their own unique perks. The protagonist you play as is more of an all around Fighter, you have your typical Tank character who wields a huge sword like Cloud Strife, a magician type, and a healer. You can switch around each character and use them for different tactics. This is one Final Fantasy game I will not pass up on and hope to get the collector's for.
So, that's my list everybody. I know I am missing a few games but these are the only ones I can really think of from the top of my head. Let me know what games you are all waiting for. Very interested to read your thoughts and opinions on this year's video game lineup. Have a great week everybody!
