I played through Wild Arms Last year and it might be my favorite PSOne RPG.

Crash Bandicoot Warped. Nothing else comes close

The PlayStation was the first non-NIntendo console I owned since the Atari 5200.  When it came out, I was reviewing games for The Dallas Morning News and actually getting paid for it, and the N64 library just wasn't cutting it.  Even though I really couldn't afford it, I bought a PlayStation and that was one of the best gaming purchases I ever had.  After that I was reviewing PSOne games left and right!  Some of my favorite PlayStation games include:

Namco Museums vol. 1 to 5 (also on my top five favorite games of all time list)

Klonoa: Door to Phantomile

Tail Concerto

The Misadventures of Tron Bonne

Point Blank 1-3

Final Fantasy 9

Ridge Racer Type 4

And many more!

Metal Gear Solid, my favorite game of all-time. I still play that game at least once a year.

Other notables: Final Fantasy VII, Mega Man Legends, Resident Evil 2, Tekken 3

Also, I forgot to mention Legend of Dragoon.

Final Fantasy IX, followed by the other Final Fantasy games and then other JRPG's like Grandia, Xenogears, etc. etc.  Lots of great JRPG's for that system. Probably my favorite console.  

Road Rash, Hogs of War, Wargames: Defcon 1. I want to say Suikoden but I haven't played enough of it yet to really make it a favorite. 

Driver, Tekken, Metal Gear Solid, Driver 2, Bust A Groove.

One of my gaming regrets is that I didn't play PS1 games back in the day but there were some really good ones. I loved Chrono Cross (haters can go jump in a lake) as well as Metal Slug X.

5. Tie between FFVIII and Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete

Too many other RPGs to mention: Valkyrie Profile, Tales of Destiny and Eternia, , Star Ocean 2, Parasite Eve, Dragon Warrior (Quest) VII, Brave Fencer Musashi, Breath of Fire, Suikoden, Thousand Arms, and the list goes on. There were also great games like Resident Evil 1-3, fighting games like Tekken, Tobal, Bushido Blade, and Ehrgeiz.

Alundra, Final Fantasy IX, Medievil, Klonoa, Tomba! (1 and 2) oops that's 6 but let's pretend it isn't. Oh and all the Crash Bandicoots and Skullmonkeys. Oops forgot Legend of Legaia. LOL I could probably name a whole bunch more if I thought about it.

I never owned a Playstation either, but I did play a lot of it thanks to my cousins and assorted friends. I'd say the ones I had enjoyed the most were Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2, the first Spyro, Mega Man X 5 and 6 (I was young, I didn't know 6 was one of the infamous of the series) and Klonoa.
