As always, great picks. Just so you know I listened:

Blenderhead dancer stage right, left from audience perspective reminds me of the dad from Honey I Shrunk the Kids! I wonder, did Blenderhead get their name from the BR song or did BR get the song name "Blenderhead" from that band, or do they not necessarily have anything to do with each other, which I think is most likely? It'd be cool if there was some influence either way, though.

Really liked "Ready to Roll," and I used to play "If I Ever Stray" by Frank Turner all the time when I still DJ'd for KSAU, glad to hear more from him, that "Recovery" song was great, liked the split image video. I wasn't huge on his cover of "My Poor Friend Me," but it does make him punk to me, and I like just about everything else he's done. Cool

I have mixed feelings on "Long Lost Friends," but overall, I do like it for its softer approach, sounds closer to what most people I knew in high school would listen to.

I love being able to tell what song "Holiday in Cambodia" is just by the opening bass line, and Joe's voice, while it isn't the best quality video, still sounds like it did on the recording. Awesome, and the man's got a good name. Wink

"Spindle" was a great way to go out, love those short and to-the-point numbers.

I was wondering the same thing. I looked for the answer and did not find one but, it does make sense that they did get their name from that BR song.

Yea, Frank falls under Folk-Punk, I like his style and voice.

I see a lot of several bands in Transit. It is that mordern punk were they are so many influences that they just incorperate all of them.

Wether it be DK or JBGSM, I just love Jello's style, he is old punk and never makes excuesses for it.

I just discovered Plow United this weekend while doing my research. They sound great, so I put them in.

Thanks for listening.

Great songs! I especially liked Flashlight Brown and that Jello Biafra clip. I dig everything he does, that guy is cool. Those dancing nerds in the Blenderhead clip are funny! They were really getting into it. The Transit song is amazing. Proof you can be punk even if you sing well and are good with your instruments. It's more of an attitude than anything else I feel.

I agree, it is all about the attitude. There are some clean sounding Punk bands out there and Transit is one of them.
