BaD: 2016 Most Anticipated Games Part 2

Part 2 of my list kicks off now. Or Now. Or in 10 minutes. It really all depends on how fast you read this. Or if you read this at all. If you pace it right, it could take you a decade. A whole decade trapped in my words. That sounds positively delightful, does it not?

Uncharted 4

The Uncharted series holds a special place in my heart for making a terrible game, then following it up with one of the best games ever, and then following that up with another terrible game. But if Naughty Dog follow the formula they have been...

This one will be pretty terrible too. Because The Last of Us was good. Fuck.

But maybe! Maybe this will be excellent! Maybe this also won't have a difficulty curve that resembles Stephen Hawkings spine (I'm going to hell for that one, aren't I?). Maybe this one won't make me so frustrated that I do a murder.

It certainly looks pretty, though. Really, isn't that what gaming's all about?

Doom

Holy wow batman things got a bit red in here. I'm one of those people who still think that Doom 3 is a putrid pile of penile puree, but this looks a bit good. And by a bit good, I mean pretty dumb. And by pretty dumb I mean yes, yes, give me more, in and around my mouth, yes, yes, give me more.

do u think the first Uncharted was terrible? Cause I didn't like it and it soured me on the rest of the series. But everyone tells me 2 is really good. Hmmmm.

I've enjoyed the whole Uncharted series. I guess I'm just weird. The first one hooked me and the third one is my favorite.

Doom I'm pretty irked. I was hoping to play the beta. I had purchased Wolfenstein and registered for it. Got no email -_-. I wanted to try it before considering buying it. Same happened with Street Fighter 5, got a beta spot, didn't get to play it. I canceled my pre-order for SF5 just a few days ago.

Wow, that doom thing is pretty shit. I was an idiot and traded Wolfenstein: The New Order in when my playstation 4 broke so I missed out on the beta as well. You really don't have luck Beta's though do you?

And Eh. Uncharted is liked by a lot of people, so I'm probably the weird one. I just think 1 is nothing special and 3's plot is all over the place, not to mention it's ridiculously difficult at points for no good reason.

I'm am having awful luck with betas. It kinda sucks because I do wanna try to the games out but if your gonna say I'm in and then proceed to fuck me over at that point I'm like "nah, but thanks for nothing." I didn't even try for the division beta. I said NOPE!

I agree about the difficult spike in 3. I swear the final leg of the game was ridiculous. I typically play games for he first go on normal. I thought I was on Hell during that final part.

Hate Uncharted, love DOOM. Don't like the glowing blue items popping out of monsters though, looks tacky. Yeah games are soooo much more immersvie nowadays with that shit (sarcasm). Still it's DOOM and not Military FPS: Swag Ops 23, so I'm interested in seeing if the rest of their design is as pants on head stupid as blue candy shooting out of demon buttholes.

I have not seen this blue candy, but it sounds a bit daft. I'm also hoping there's actually some colour to the game, because if the entire game looks like it did in the footage I saw I'm going to have a migraine.

I've only played Uncharcted 2 and the multiplayer beta for 3. I still really love 2 and almost got the remastered collection for PS4 until I found out it didn't have multiplayer in both 2 and 3. I mean Uncharcted didn't need multiplayer but damn it was fun sometimes.

I actually really got into 3's multiplayer. I think the climbing and platforming added a lot to it honestly. Made it more chaotic/strategic.

I'd still recommend 3, it just goes stupid at points. Plus, the game gets obnoxiously difficult for no reason and there's no way you can predict your deaths half the time.

I honestly didn't read this, just saw Uncharted 4 and Doom and thought they were good choices, but Blake you are going to hell. Regardless of what happens or anything you write from now on. John Calvin has you pegged!

I have the Uncharted 1, 2, and 3 on the PS3 and I only played the first game. I finished it, but I didn't enjoy it. One of these days I'll play the others.

1 is meh. 2 is one of the best games ever. 3 looks like it is going to be a strong contender for best game ever until the halfway mark where it - to quote tropic thunder - "goes full retard."

I didn't like Doom 3 much either, but a dumb new Doom. Oh, count me in. I hope it's good like Wolfenstein: New Order.

Right? I just want some old school, fast paced, adrenaline pumping shooters where shit explodes constantly. I mean, I like modern shooters too, but we've bloody well had enough of those for one lifetime.
