Been meaning to post this for a while, but I'm a Squid Kid Now! Well, technically since September. Just wanted to post this. I'll be writing my thoughts on Nintendo's newest IP. You might consider this as part of a Mystery Gifts Post I guess, since the point of those are posts on new things I have gotten.

Splatoon was my GOTY last year. The Autobots vs. Decepticons thing was pretty surprising, but I didn't get to participate because I was at PAX Prime. I heard that at the show, Nintendo was giving out Autobot and Decepticon emblem T-shirts to those who played Splatoon at PAX, but I didn't see that when I was there.

In the end, the Decepticons won. Shame on you players, you made Optimus Prime dissapointed.

I got Splatoon around January as a christmas gift and man, I haven't had this much fun in an online multiplayer since starting Team Fortress 2 in 2014. It really is an amazing game and I give props to Nintendo in being bold on not only a new first-party IP, but also on a genre outside their boundaries.
