I'm not that down on Origin actually. I mean it's customer support is far better than Valve's and it has a ton of features Valve should be stealing.
Unfortunately, it's owned by EA so a lot of the games are arse, but hey, swings and roundabouts.

Yes, that abysmal gaming service like Steam. Though, it has more suck. I have been playing it and I owned it on the 360 . Though, let me tell ya the graphics jumped because of my older 660 GTX TI . I still own a 6 series graphics card and my oh my this game looks beautiful.
So... it has been pretty fun thus far. And yes if you have an Origin account it is free right now.
So go get some free!
