Hey Pixlbit, how are you?

Something short today. A few days ago, a rumor started that Mother 3, might be coming out over here or something of the like.

For those who don't know, it is a game from a series that is known as Earthbound over here. Fans have been wanting Mother 3 to be localized for maybe a decade now, maybe less but about a decade. There's a fan translation of the game that's been out for a long time because Nintendo doesn't want to bring it here. But the rumor has it that it will indeed get a release overseas. In fact, the rumor states that Nintendo of Europe is doing the translation. Whatever happens, hopefully people will finally be able to play it,

I heard something like this too. I hope it turns out to be true. I never did finish Earthbound, though both of my brothers have, so I'm familiar with how the whole story plays out. I need to do it myself at some point though.

With the popularity of Undertale, it wouldn't surprise me if this happens. I'll probably get it just to have it and try it, but I'm probably the only person in the world who's not a big fan of Earthbound. Battles are archaic and the story is so nonsensical that it's hard to know what to do next. When the game was originally released on the SNES, it came with a strategy guide for a reason.

Yup. The rental copies did not have that strat guide and I had NO IDEA what to do as a kid.

Isn't this on Wii-U Virtual console? I also think I heard today that it was coming to 3DS virtual console too.
