I was invited to the premiere at AT&T Stadium, by my older brother who works there, but had to work that night. I know it's Michael Bay and about Benghazi, but apparently it's gotten decent reviews and the politics are kept minimal. I'll probably catch it at home.
I hear mixed things. Julian and his gf loved it, friends of mine I was with for Super Bowl 50 not so much. But it's a Coen Bros. movie with a great cast, so I'll see it eventually.
This is more of a maybe, maybe not movie, but I do like the premise and never got around to reading the book (or the non-zombified Jane Austen original). It might be a rental.
This will very likely be my first theater-going experience this year apart from The Revenant. The marketing has been insane and I'm curious to see how an R-rated flick mostly targeted to white males with a juvenile sense of humor will do. The reviews so far have been good from what I've heard, so fingers crossed. I'll see it regardless though.
I thought the original was just ok, but I am planning on being dragged to this one. Not kicking and screaming, cause I enjoyed the original enough, but if I see it in theaters it'll be with a group of friends who are much higher on the original than I am.
I might not be religious any more, but I was raised Catholic, it releases during Lent I believe, and I tend to enjoy Jesus movies, so if I'll likely see it with family.
I was born on March 23 and like comic book movies. This comes out March 25 and has Batman and Superman (and Wonder Woman, possibly Aquaman) in it. Yeah, the second trailer revealed too much, but I'm still seeing it. This'll be what friends who wanted to see Zoolander 2 get dragged to.
The first one wound up in my thesis and was ... entertainingly offensive. I am morbidly curious about what happens after Professor Asshole Hercules dies.
Poster says 2015, but coming out this year. I'm really looking forward to this and the game. It'll make me feel better about not buying an Xbone for Sunset Overdrive after meeting Insomniac.
Yes, Marvel is way oversaturating the market. Yes, I'm maybe wearing thin on these flicks with multiple characters. No, that's not going to stop me from seeing it in theaters. I'm mostly excited about Black Panther.
Enjoyed original, will see this at some point. If you don't watch this when it comes on cable July 4, I wish never to meet you or your family. What kind of people are you? Not the good kind. Probably Commies.
I only recognize movies on this list that are related to older things. I will have a better idea of original fare I want to see later in the year. Sue me.
The most original movie on this list, yet still based on an older IP. It'll be nice to revisit the Potterverse, even if I always thought the movies paled in comparison to the books.
HA! Another one I did not see coming. I did enjoy the original when I watched on Netflix a year or so ago. Have not seen Billy Bob Thornton in a while.
This one will depend on reviews. A lot of people liked Disney's Prince of Persia, but I thought it was so-so. I imagine this being the same.
So there you have it, folks. Everything I am aware of and want to see is every problem people have with modern Hollywood, from remakes to sequels, to comic book flicks. I'm hoping I'll find out what original movies I'd like to see as the year goes on. There were a lot of titles on that list I did not recognize that might be up my alley.

Hey that's the purple lady I was talking about!
I'll go see a lot of those movies on your list, but I may not see all the ones I want in a theater because I don't have a job right now and am trying to save money. Another one that is not on your list that I'd like to see is The Secret Life of Pets.

I saw that on the list, but don't know much about it.

Is that Olivia Munn? I liked her better when she was on AoTS on G4 TV.

I'm looking forward to a movie later this month, called Triple 9. It's one of those edgy cops and crooks stories in the vein of The Shield, Trainding Day, and The Wire, directed by the director of The Propopostion, The Road, and Lawless. Going by his other films, it's going to be hard hittingly violent, visceral, and raw, with a morbid sense of humor. Check out this trailer.

My list will change when I know more about these more original movies. But yeah, comic book movies tend to be a big draw for me as well.

I just know I'm not gonna sit on the bench and miss out on Marvel/DC films, and I'll have to wait on reviews for the rest of the stuff. I didn't even know gambit was a movie? I don't like the main actor in that movie, so I'll prob sit it out and ignore it.

If reviews are bad enough for some of the comic book stuff (minus BvS), I might sit it out to save money. Didn't see Age of Ultron until DVD and thought it was so-so.

I thought having only one theater in town was bad, but none. Ooof. Sorry, man.

Darn there's a lot of scifi and comic book movies this year, not to mention several video game related movies. I just saw Pride & Prejudice with Zombies (much better than I expected) and Hail Caesar (loved it). I can't wait for Ratchet & Clank and the game.

Truth be told, I am more hyped for the game, but that's a Friday topic.

I might be spending some time in the theaters this year. Deadpool, Zoolander 2, Batman V Superman (please be good, I don't have high hopes), Jungle Book, Captain America, X-Men because of Olivia Munn and Jennifer Lawrence, Star Trek, Bourne, Suicide Squad (I want to see how they stack up compared to the Arrow-verse Suicide Squad), Gambit (please be good), and Rogue One. Dory, Snowden, and Independence Day will be flicks I'll check out on video...do people still say video or is it Bluray now?

Say Betamax, see the reaction. I still say DVD, even if it's a BluRay.

Yeah, I think you should see the second Kung Fu Panda, if only because the sequel is legitly excellent.
It's a good thing I rarely watch trailers nowadays, since I did hear of the second trailer of Batman v Superman spoiling a lot of the movie. I hate that shit.
Ghostbusters reboot I think will bomb, sue me.

I can see it bombing too, but I'm giving it a chance. You hire a lawyer yet?
