One thing I have always liked about the Metal Gear Solid games is that you always get a camera to play around with. Me being an amateur photographer I love taking in game photos.

Well, low and behold MGS Peace Walker actually has an extra ops mission that requires you to use a camera and take a photo of an enemy soldier!  Extra Ops Mission 057 Paparazzi.

In this mission Snake has to find and take a photo of an commander, the problem is that he is dressed exactly like the rest of the soldiers. So you must figure out which one is the commander and take his picture. You can not be spotted or kill any soldiers during the mission. Spotted or kill someone and its Mission Over!

I found the commander but his back was to me so I placed a gentlemen's magazine behind him and then made a nosie and he turned and saw the magazine so I took his picture.

No good? Kaz told me to stop wasting film! So I sneaked over to the side of the dock and took a side photo

Nope! Still wasting film.

I restart the mission and just took a photo of him facing away from me

Bingo! This was the one Kaz wanted. But Kaz had said for Snake to get a clear close up photo of him. I probably took 10 different photos and it was this one he said was good.

So if you like playing around with in game cameras, grab a MGS game and have fun.

Wind Waker has in-game cameras and a huge mini-game centered around them. I must confess that I never finished that particular mini-game.

Right now, my big thing is taking videos and screenshots of Final Fantasy VII and posting them on Facebook and YouTube.

I actually kinda want to go back and complete that now.

Don't you love how you're always supposed to get a shot that seems oddly wrong given the specific instructions in video games, GH? HA!

Joe...yeah, Kaz says to get a full clear close up photo. but the photo I took was far from what he instructed!

I can't remember specifically, but there are a ton of those missions in video games I played, where it's like "get this pic" and it won't register cause I needed to move my camera AN INCH LEFT.

Andrew: yeah, I've been seeing your screenshots on FB. I love doing that too. If you remember I posted a lot of MGSV screenshots on FB....I have tons of screenshots I take with my camera...I love doing that. And with these in game cameras I have tons of photos. MGS 4 has the best in game camera, you can manlipulate the camera where Snake can also be in the picture.

That's cool! I love in game camera tasks like in Beyond Good & Evil. I'm glad Wind Waker has a camera mini-game. I want to play it even more now.

Yeah, I forgot about Beyond Good and Evil

Have you ever played Pokemon Snap?  Knowing you, I kind of doubt it, but it is a pretty fun picture-taking game.

Haha this sounds like a fun mission, but probably can be a little frustrating. I do like taking random photos in game. Its fun and I appreciate with the developers made.

Chris...it was a fun mission...but not very challenging
